Demi Lovato, Chloe Grace Moretz, More Celebs to Attend Democratic National Convention 2016 — Plus Find Out Who’s Speaking

They’re with her! Demi LovatoChloë Grace Moretz and Lena Dunham are among the several celebrities who are scheduled to attend the 2016 Democratic National Convention, which kicks off at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Monday, July 25.

Dozens of stars — including Star Jones, America Ferrera, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Tony Goldwyn — recently took to social media to announce that they plan on attending the A-list political affair in support of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“I’m going to @DemConvention next week in Philly!!” Lovato, 23, captioned a GIF of Clinton, 68, via Twitter on Wednesday, July 20.

Moretz, 19, announced on Instagram that she’s speaking at the convention, writing, “I am so happy to announce I will be speaking At the democratic national convention ! #DNC #ImWithHer going to be such a beautiful historic day and I can’t believe I have the immense honor of being part of it. Thank you @hillaryclinton !”

And celebs aren’t the only ones showing up to the latest DNC. Politicians Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden are scheduled to address thousands of delegates, fellow leaders and Democratic party supporters throughout the week.

In a recent press release for the event, Hillary for America and the Democratic National Convention Committee stated: “While Republican leadership continues to run away from Donald Trump, and refuse to participate in the upcoming Republican convention, the Democratic convention will showcase enormously popular national leaders, rising stars from across the country and a diverse range of everyday Americans who will inspire the nation.”
