Angela and Chet are making a comeback! Boy Meets World alums Trina McGee and Blake Clark are reprising their roles on the show’s Disney spin-off Girl Meets World — and possibly reuniting with Cory, Topanga, and Shawn!
Entertainment Weekly reports that the actors will make an appearance in a season two episode titled “Girl Meets Hurricane.” Making the reunion sweeter, William Russ, who played Alan Matthews on the beloved original series, will be directing.
Both stars have an on-screen connection with Rider Strong’s character Shawn Hunter. McGee played Angela Moore, Hunter’s on-and-off girlfriend from 1997 to 2000. Clark’s appearance, however, may be more of a mystery to fans. His character Chet Hunter, Shawn’s father, passed away from a heart attack in season six.
Girl Meets World has had several BMW veterans drop by since its June 2014 premiere with stars Ben Savage (Cory Matthews) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence). Will Friedle (Eric Matthews), William Daniels (George Feeny), Betsy Randle (Amy Matthews), and Russ have all reunited on-camera.
