Music’s next power couple? Gwen Stefani showed her support for boyfriend Blake Shelton when she attended The Angry Birds Movie premiere with two of her sons — Kingston, 9, and Zuma, 7 — in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 7.
The “Misery” singer, 46, who also brought her adorable niece Stella, looked stylish in a rocker chic blue bomber jacket and jeans.
Shelton, 39, voices Earl in the 3D film, which is based on the hit video game app of the same name. He is also featured on the movie’s soundtrack.
Earlier in the day, the country singer tweeted that he was in Oklahoma prior to the premiere. “Started my day like this in Oklahoma… Now headed to Hollyweird for the Angry Birds premiere!!!” he captioned a picture of a field.
Stefani skipped the red carpet and headed straight into the theater while her beau did interviews outside. While speaking with the press, Stefani’s recent hit “Make Me Like You” started playing and Shelton “was smiling from ear to ear,” a source tells Us.
The duo reunited inside, where they sat with Kingston and Zuma (Stefani’s youngest son, 2-year-old Apollo, did not attend).
At one point during the film, the No Doubt frontwoman “rubbed [Blake’s] knee eagerly, like she was expressing her excitement to see his song in the movie,” the source adds. “The two of them could barely keep their eyes off each other in the theatre!”
Stefani also shared a sweet photo of herself and the Voice coach snuggling up before the movie on Snapchat.
