Someone's watching over her — and it's not a good thing! Hilary Duff sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Wednesday, Oct. 8, where they discussed topics of interest like Aaron Carter and Lizzie McGuire.
Cohen asked the former Disney star, 27, how she felt about Carter continually "declaring his love" for her.
"Andy! I'm going to hurt you right now," joked Duff, who has been asked this question on numerous occasions recently. "Ugh! I don't know. I don't know what to say about it! It was so many years ago. I literally haven't seen him in… so, it's uncomfortable."
The Bravo host quipped, "He's just feeling you on Twitter, publicly." Duff responded, "it's nice to be felt."
Fellow show guest Giada De Laurentiis, who was "out of the loop" with the news, asked Duff if the two had dated. "Ohhhh, yes, yes," Duff said. "When I was 13… He was very sweet. When I was 13."
Duff told BuzzFeed last month that she and Carter were in different phases of their lives now. "He keeps doing that," the "Chasing the Sun" songstress said of Carter professing his undying love. "I mean, that was so long ago, and obviously I'm still married, and I have a baby and we kind of just… don't know each other." (After hearing his former flame's comments, Carter, 26, told Wenn that he was willing to let her go. "I don't know Hilary either. She don't know me and I don't know her," he said. "I just need to shut up now about it. I think it's time…")
During her appearance on WWHL, the actress also addressed her recent comments about a possible Lizzie McGuire reunion. "I don’t know," the star mused. "Somebody asked me that the other day, and now it’s blowing up everywhere. I’m busy right now, so who knows? Maybe in 20 years. Why not?"
As for her immediate future and plans to expand her brood? "I would love to have more kids," said Duff, whose currently separated from husband Mike Comrie. "I'm obsessed with [our son] Luca. He's 2 and a half. I would love to. I think right now I'm busy getting back into work… I would love to in the future have more kids."
