How Sherri Shepherd Spent Her "Last Day as a Single Woman"

It's been a whirlwind couple of days in the Windy City for bride-to-be Sherri Shepherd.
The 44-year-old View cohost spent Thursday afternoon taking wedding portraits with her future husband Lamar Sally at Navy Pier in Chicago. Though she was dressed in a white gown, it won't be the one she wears when she walks down the aisle Saturday.

"Just put that on to do personal shots with Sal," Shepherd tweeted. "You think I'd let him see it so soon?"
The following night, the future spouses were joined by Elisabeth Hasselback, ESPN's Tim Hasselback, Community's Yvette Nicole Brown and Clean House's Niecy Nash for dinner at P.F. Chang's.

Later that evening, Shepherd was sitting in her hotel room "when all of a sudden my bridesmaids burst into the room with their own footed pajamas."
"Just had the most amazing bachelorette party with my bridesmaids," Shepherd tweeted hours later. "Much food, laughter and love in this room. Can't wait to open my gifts!"

Late Friday night, Shepherd posted one final tweet before her big day. "Going to bed now. Sal is in his suite. My last day as a single woman," she wrote. "Thank you Jesus for being in the midst of all this. Gotta get sleep!"
Shepherd was married to comedian Jeff Tarpley from 2001-2009; they have one child together, son Jeffrey, 5.

15I remember that Sherri said that no single people were being invited to her wedding. I doubt that she is feeling upstaged by Joy as she probably knew about it ahead of time. Joy did not make a big deal of it to the public Sherri had the spotlight

OK...folks...don't you think Sherri knew about it?? Please. I look at it as Joy let Sherri have the spotlight with hers and Joy stepped back into the shadows. But, I'm sure Sherri knew and was happy for Joy. Joy's was a small wedding....not public like Sherri's. Congrats to both!

Pretty skanky of Joy, I agree, after bad mouthing marriage to do this now after 29 years right before Sherris is pretty below the belt. I don't like big mouth Joy anyway.

If I were Sherri I would rip off Joy Behar's face. After 29 years together Joy has to marry the night before Sherri. What an obvious attempt to steal Sherri's glory on her special day. Can't wait to see how they handle that on the View come September.

I never understood WHY people have wedding portraits taken before the ceremony. They can look back on those portraits, but they aren't married in those portraits! It just make absolutely no sense. And, she has A LOT of boobs! I don't know how she fits them into her outfits. I would hate to be that large!
