Jason Derulo: Jordin Sparks Split Is “So Behind Me”

Jason Derulo spoke about his split from Jordin Sparks.

Jason Derulo is back to ridin' solo. The "Wiggle" singer, 25, spoke about the single life and his messy 2014 breakup from Jordin Sparks in a new cover story interview with Billboard magazine, saying he doesn't expect to be coupled-up again anytime soon.

Derulo told Billboard it would take "a miracle" to get him back into a relationship, about eight months after he and Sparks, 25, parted ways. The dramatic split included talked-about cheating rumors, shade from both sides, and the complete end of a close relationship after three years together.

"I do get tired of playing nice," the "Trumpets" singer told Billboard of facing the breakup backlash. "Especially when people think I did something wrong, or that she broke up with me. But it's so behind me."

Derulo, who told the mag that celebrities pull of publicity stunt romances "all the time," is now back on the market and "having a good time getting to know people."

He won't be meeting new ladies on Tinder, however, as he told Us Weekly in March that he's too worried about being recognized on the app.

"Social media and dating together is the new wave," he told Us. "I would [join] if it wasn’t so unpredictable. I’d probably meet some huge fans, but otherwise it’s not a safe bet. Maybe if they come up with a version of Tinder for celebrities, then I would do it."

"It'd be like, 'A million new requests today!'" he added to Billboard of his imagined Tinder profile. "That's just wrong."
