Jessica Simpson Has "Pretty Strong Feeling" Dog Won't Be Found

Jessica Simpson is still looking for her pooch Daisy -- who was snatched from her backyard by a coyote Monday -- even though she has a "pretty strong feeling" she won't be found.
A rep for FindToto.com -- which called 1,000 of the singer's neighbors to help find the five-year-old maltipoo earlier this week -- tells Usmagazine.com they've called off the search.
"We've actually discontinued the search entirely," the company's spokeswoman, Colleen Busch, tells Us. "We've contacted Jessica and asked them if they want us to put out more Findtoto alerts, and they don't."

Busch says Simpson and her friends are "trying to be positive but they just have a pretty strong feeling she isn't going to be found. We just didn't get any leads."
On Wednesday, Simpson posted that she was "still holding out hope" of finding her pup -- a gift from ex Nick Lachey -- even though celeb dog trainer Jennifer McCarthy told Us "she's probably not alive."
At Us' 25 Stylish Most New Yorkers party Martha Stewart told Us that Simpson "should have watched it more closely...she should have been more careful."

She advised the heartbroken singer to "get another dog."

201it is so sad but accidents happen. sadly i went on vacation and let my kitten play outside with my friends.. less then a week later he got run over.. i learned my lesson now and i never let my cats out and if i let my dogs out i keep a close eye on em.. it sucks that you sometimes cant learn before its to late :( rip daisy
NO ONE'S ASKING FOR BOUNDLESS PRAISE! A LITTLE HUMEN COMPASSION WOULD BE NICE!
This is so sad. She LOVED that dog. They didn't find Daisy, but then again they didn't find anything, If she was killed by the coyote, they would have found SOMETHING. I wouldn't give up hope just yet.
All of you are heartless JERKS! She did not ask for this to happen and seemed to love her dog! I for one am truly sorry
BTW, this is called the "Comments" section and not the "Boundless Praise" section.
Poor doggie :( There are coyotes all over So Cal, especially closer to the hills where she lives. Our cats are all indoor cats because of that. Hopefully she gets a doggie door for the next dog she buys. I would hope she'd adopt a pound puppy but who am I kidding?
sheesh!
why don't people take better care of their animals? they have to be watched just like small children. there are so many irresponsible pet owners, it disgusts me! do they imagine the torture if the pet was attacked and eaten by a coyote, cougar, bob cat, raccoon, or any other preditors? YES, THESE THINGS ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE! EVEN IN YOUR BACK YARD!
God is she really that stupid??? Obviously the coyote ate your dog for lunch.
Jessica Simpson isn't a weed or a flower. She's fertilizer. You know, manure.
Weeding your own garden is taking out what you consider a weed. So saying that statement is "...like telling the gardener to avoid looking at the weeds" makes no sense. Having said that I am taking my own advice. I feel I am done "plucking weeds" now and am leaving this topic. I hope someday you can weed your own garden without destroying what some may think is a flower, just something to think on.

If the article about a celebrity you don't like is in a magazine, flip the page, or read the other articles around it. In the case of internet stories, don't click on them to avoid stories on that celebrity. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. To each their own in what celebrities each person likes or dislikes. However, rather than complaining about a particular celebrity and their overexposure, calling them names, or give a list of things you dislike about them, etc., do something. To use your metaphor, we all choose what to focus on in our lives, so it is up to each of us “weed” our own gardens in the garden of life.

That would be like telling a gardener to quit gardening if he doesn't like the way the weeds look instead of just pulling them. For those who enjoy reading about celebrities, Jessica Simpson is a weed in the garden of celebrity news. She just needs to be pulled.
I don’t want to be unkind but I think perhaps the ones being most critical read too much about her and other celebrities. If you don’t like her, simple, don’t read about her. If you are reading the magazines, twittering, and watching the ‘entertainment’ shows so much that you know when a celebrity breaks wind and what types of parties they have had, it may be time for another hobby.
It sounds like perhaps some people read too much about her and probably all celebrities in general. If you don't care for her, why read about her? With all due respect, if read about her, are on twitter, and most likely watch many of the 'entertainment' shows, maybe it's time to find another hobby.

Nothing is too personal to this puke that it can't be used to promote a lousy album or lame reality show. If she doesn't like the stuff written about her, she needs to shut up.
What makes people not like Jessica Simpson? hmmm..... let me think: She's a OVEREXPOSED "Celebrity" who was famous 6 years ago for Newlyweds, People are tired of her and her creepy family, she has NO morals or values WHATSOEVER. She's a nasty, immature, greedy person who LOVES being the press. What 29 year old woman would want to have a Barbie and Ken birthday party? What kind of a woman loves to talk about how they fart in bed?
