Nothing like a visit from an old friend. Joey Feek was greeted by her longtime pastor in Alexandria, Indiana, on Monday, February 8, as she remains in hospice care.
The country singer's husband and Joey + Rory bandmate, Rory Feek, shared the sweet moment on their public Facebook page.
"…blessed w a beautiful visit and time of prayer last night from our sweet friends Mike & Sally Rosser," Rory, 49, wrote. "Mike is the pastor who married us almost 14 years ago."
In the snapshot, the Rossers are speaking with Joey, 40, who is reclined back on her bed. The room includes artwork, a couch, blankets and a stuffed animal, which possibly belongs to the couple's 23-month-old daughter, Indiana.
Last week, Rory revealed on their blog that Joey — who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2014 — was "more frail than ever." Despite the continuous setbacks, the couple are trying to stay positive and grateful for what they do have. On Tuesday, they posted an adorable photo of their baby girl taking a bath.
"..also blessed w this precious little one," the caption read. "Somehow she makes the most routine things (breakfast, bath, potty-time) …great, joy-filled fun."
