Justin Bieber Investigated for Attempted Robbery by LAPD: Report
TMZ reports that an alleged female victim filed a complaint with local California law enforcement and the LAPD responded to her home on Tuesday, May 13, to look into the situation.
The woman claims that she and her daughter were at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, an amusement park with batting cages and mini golf, on Monday, May 12, at the same time as Bieber.
The mother apparently reached for her cell phone to take a photo of the rebellious star, who allegedly reacted by demanding her phone. When she wouldn't hand it over to him, Bieber reportedly grabbed her purse and took the phone from it.
According to TMZ, the woman "began wrestling with Bieber, trying to get her phone back," and Bieber gave up when he couldn't get through the passcode on the phone. After showing the pop singer that she hadn't taken any photos of him, she explained that she and her 13-year-old daughter were just hoping to say hi.
Bieber allegedly retorted, "You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don't you just get out of here?"
Calls to Bieber's rep for comment were not immediately returned.
