Kate Gosselin Spends 35th Birthday Away From Kids
Kate Gosselin spent her 35th birthday Sunday thousands of miles away from her eight kids rehearsing for Dancing With the Stars in L.A.
On Saturday, Kate spent a large portion of the day apart from her children as well, even though she was at their $1.2 million Pennsylvania home.
At 8:30 a.m., bodyguard Steve Neild, whom Jon Gosselin has accused of having an affair with his ex, and Neild's wife, Gina, arrived with a large gift for Kate.
Kate's DWTS partner Tony Dovolani showed up around 9:30 a.m. for a three-hour practice session in the basement.

Just after lunchtime, Steve took Kate to a Toyota dealership to drop off her $64,000 Land Cruiser to be serviced. Gina stayed at home to watch the kids, who "ran around like they haven't been outside in a month," an observer sniped to UsMagazine.com.

At 1 p.m., a limo arrived to pick up Steve and Kate to take them to the airport to head to Los Angeles to tape DWTS. The show airs live every Monday.
Kate's action-packed rehearsal day is a far cry from her 34th birthday, which she spent alone while husband Jon took his former mistress Deanna Hummel, a 23-year-old teacher, snowboarding in Utah.
