Over the weekend, Kim Kardashian followed up her all-nude Harper's Bazaar pictorial (released last week) with another talked-about photo session: featuring a new feline friend.

"Pic from my shoot yesterday...good kitty cat!" she wrote beneath a new TwitPic. In the snapshot, the 29-year-old, wearing long leather black gloves and a cleavage-bearing top, holds a black cat by the scruff of its neck.

The reality star drew ire from some fans on Twitter, who worried that she was causing pain to the kitty -- and finally defended herself on her blog. "Rest assured, the owner and vet were on set and showed me how to pick him up," Kardashian wrote. The cat was not harmed in any way and is perfectly fine! I love animals and would never do anything to harm animals."

Kim is not hurting the kitty by any means. Mother cats carry their young in the same manner but with teeth. The kitty probably thinks Kim is the mommie! I love Kim Kardashian. She's beautiful and I wish I looked just like her!
