Kim Kardashian Leaves Paris After Whirlwind Easter Weekend With Kanye West: Picture
West, ever the doting dad-to-be, accompanied his pregnant girlfriend to the airport, where she boarded a flight back to L.A. (The rapper, 35, stayed behind to continue work on his new album.)
Both stars kept their outfits casual and mostly fuss-free. Kardashian, 32, looked uncharacteristically dressed down in a loose black cardigan, black pants, a black top, and black sneakers -- a noted change from her usual sky-high stilettos. Her beau, meanwhile, donned a gray hoodie, jeans, boots, and a leather jacket with fur trim.
Prior to Kardashian's Tuesday departure, the couple -- who are expecting their first child together in July -- enjoyed a fun, activity-packed weekend. On Saturday, March 30, they raced around the European metropolis in a sleek black Porsche, a source told Us Weekly.
"It's a really sports, powerful car, and Kim was loving it," the insider said of the first-time mom-to-be. "She might be pregnant and preparing to settle down, but she was determined to act like a sporty girl-about-town."
Two days later, the pair ditched their flashy ride for a more low-key shopping trip to Bonpoint, a French children's store, where they presumably looked at goodies for their unborn baby.
No doubt the trip was a welcome escape for Kardashian, who has faced criticism and bullying for both her weight and her taste in maternity wear. "It's funny because Kourtney warned me that when I get pregnant, people's opinions will be on an all-time high and everyone will chime in!" she wrote on her blog last month. "So I now see what she means."
A source told Us that the negativity was taking its toll on the mom-to-be, but another insider said she's "finally accepting her body and getting more comfortable. She doesn't feel sexy, but she feels feminine."
"I feel my best when I am in heels and chic clothes!" she explained on her blog. "Happy mommy, happy baby!"
