Who knew Kristen Stewart and Katy Perry were pals?
The Snow White and the Huntsman actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday and talked about her recent trip to Coachella, where she caught the most talked-about performance with the "California Gurls" singer, 27.
Stewart, 22, told Jimmy Kimmel she went to the big music festival over the weekend of April 21 with "a couple of my close friends," which included her real life boyfriend Robert Pattinson and apparently Perry.
The actress revealed she got to see the now legendary Tupac hologram performance with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre thanks to Perry, 27. Stewart said, "I saw Tupac in front of the entire Coachella crowd, actually."
But Stewart grew bashful name-checking her Grammy-winning friend. "I have a buddy who has absolutely no qualms being in front of millions of people," she started to explain. "I'm not dropping -- I feel like a weirdo right now -- I was with Katy Perry. I walked behind her through…she wanted to sit up front. She's like, 'Hey, you want to go watch the Tupac stuff? It will be awesome.' I was like, 'Yeah!' "
Understandably, Stewart was nervous she'd be noticed and potentially mobbed by her Twilight fans!
She continued, "And then suddenly I was like, 'What are you doing to me? Ah!' And I suddenly had to put my hat down because we were literally like Moses parting the waves of Coachella getting to the front."
"You were in Katy Perry's wake?" Kimmel asked.
"I was her entourage," Stewart explained. "I was leading her entourage."
