Lamar Odom should probably stick to his day job. On Friday, Nov. 22, TMZ surfaced a video of the basketball player shirtless and attempting to rap with a pal. In it, he mumbles somewhat incoherently about Khloe Kardashian, money, and making "the pain [go] away." He also name drops Kanye West, who's engaged to Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian.

At one point in the video, the 34-year-old athlete whispers, "When Khloe's out of town / I guess I still be on the DL." That's followed by a few lines from his friend: "You know what it is / We the QU pimps / Ask any of these shorties / We ran through their cribs."

The video is grainy and hard to understand at times, and it's not clear when it was shot, though TMZ claims it was recorded "this month."

Odom and his wife have had a rough go of it this year, but they seemed to be doing better in recent weeks. Earlier this month, they attended Kris Jenner's 58th birthday party together. "Khloe and Lamar started talking again," a source told Us Weekly at the time, noting that the athlete "had a great time" at his mother-in-law's bash.

"He's working out," the insider added. "He's doing so much better."

Indeed, other sources told Us that Odom was expected to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers. "He's happy to go back," one insider said. "Lamar is training and in good shape."

"The teams aren't concerned about the drug use," another source told Us. "If he stays mentally focused, he can help win games."
