So funny. Larry David and Bernie Sanders proved that they aren't actually the same person when they appeared together on Saturday Night Live on February 6.

The real-life doppelgängers teamed up in a sketch about the Titanic. Realizing that there aren't enough lifeboats for everyone, Sanders rants, "I am so sick of the 1 percent getting this preferential treatment, enough is enough. We need to unite and work together if we're all going to get through this."

David, who previously played Sanders on SNL last October, chimes in, "Sounds like socialism to me."

"Democratic socialism," the presidential candidate clarifies.

When the Curb Your Enthusiasm alum asks what the difference is, the senator from Vermont channels Republican rival Donald Trump and says the difference is "yuuuuuge."

In another filmed sketch, David reimagined the candidate's campaign in Iowa as if it was an episode of his former HBO series.

In "Bern Your Enthusiasm," David as Sanders declines to shake hands with a constituent (played by Leslie Jones) because she coughs into her hand before offering a handshake. "I am running for president," he yelps neurotically. "I do not shake disgusting hands."

He then refuses to help a woman (Aidy Bryant) to pop her dislocated shoulder back into place.

"Pop it back in? Are you nuts," he says. "Go to a hospital, I'm not a popper … I'm from Brooklyn. We don't pop in Brooklyn. I have no popping experience."

The sketch then offers an explanation for why Sanders came a close second to fellow Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, losing the Iowa caucus vote by less than 1 percent.

The scene then fades to black and is followed by the credit "Directed by Bernie Sanders."

They also paired up to introduce the night's musical guest, The 1975, and David asked Sanders how things are going in New Hampshire, where he is leading Clinton by a large margin. "Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good," he replies.
