Maggie Gyllenhaal Talks About Thanksgiving With Taylor Swift

Maggie Gyllenhaal had an extra reason to be thankful this year: She got to spend Thanksgiving with her brother Jake and his new sudden squeeze, Taylor Swift.
The new Us Weekly (on newsstands now) has the first photos of the two lovebirds taking a stroll in Brooklyn's Park Slope neighborhood, where Maggie, 33, and her family live.

Asked how the day went, Maggie told UsMagazine.com Thursday at the Focus For Change benefit in NYC: "Great."

She paused when asked what makes her brother, 29, such a great guy, prompting her husband, Peter Sarsgaard, to tell Us: "Why is Jake a wonderful guy? Because he's an adventurer!"

Their age difference is not a big deal. I think it's because she's so young (20?), and he's almost 30. Those two ages are usually very different in terms of maturity and life experience. But because of what she does, she's had quite a lot of life experience (Kanye, for example), and my understanding is that she's quite mature for her age. Neither of them is married, neither of them has an addiction, and neither is an egomaniac. So I say we leave them alone and let them try to make it work.

I am sure their time spent together is going to involve some kind of baking or cooking. More than likely applie pie. Because her and Jake seem to have a thing for apple pie.
Good for Taylor and Jake. Hope it lasts. I don't see the big deal about the age difference, I can't count how many hollywood couples have a huge gap when it comes to age. Hopefully they focus on each other, let the press and people say what they want.
