Well, that’s one way to pay tribute. A man dressed up as legendary funk singer Rick James robbed a bank in Indiana on Saturday, Sept. 19 — and his accomplice was a would-be Youngblood Priest from 1970s movie Super Fly.
According to local reports, the pair entered an Indiana Members Credit Union on Saturday afternoon in their disguises and demanded money from the bank tellers.
After being handed an undisclosed amount of money, the terrible twosome took off in an unknown direction, according to eyewitnesses.
Both men are still at large.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released descriptions of the suspects, describing the first man, dressed as Youngblood Priest, as wearing a black hat, with “long hair, sunglasses, [and] all-black clothing.”
The other man, dressed up as the late “Super Freak” crooner, was described as “5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches with long dreads.”
