Meghan McCain is slamming Bristol Palin for not voting in Tuesday's elections.

The 20-year-old daughter of former Gov. Sarah Palin, who is in L.A. competing on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, told Inside Edition she forgot to send in her "absentee ballot in Alaska. I'm going to be in trouble. Sorry, Mom!"

Appearing on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno, McCain, 26 said, "If you didn't vote in my family that was like bad news. I've been voting since I turned 18."

Ripping on Palin, she added, "I guess it's only important for Bristol Palin to vote for Dancing With the Stars. I think a lot of women worked really hard to give us the right to vote. Anyone that doesn't vote is just ridiculous."

Just because she didn't vote, Palin still has opinions on politics: She thinks her mom should run for president in 2012.

"I know that she's great and she'd be great for our country," she said.

Sounds to me like another older woman who is a Bristol-hater and jealous of the younger more beautiful Bristol. AND...did anyone see the choices we have to put in office across the nation? Here in California, we had Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman. Can you blame Bristol for what Alaska had to offer to its residents? Would it make a difference if Bristol voted and was undecided? Shut the hell up already! Election's over!

It appears that politics actually means very little to the Palin family unless it involves Sarah Palin herself. As such, since Sarah herself was not on the ballot, voting was option for family members and participation in the election process was not of any great importance. For the eldest daughter of a mother who aspires to be President of the United States, to fail to vote in a national election, does not speak well of the parents, especially as to our nations greatest liberty, that of being able to choose our leaders.

    Really Megan?

I agree with Megan McCain, as the women of the Suffrage movement did sacrifice a lot just to get the woman of tomorrow (which includes us of today) the right to vote. I really appreciate that they did that for me and my daughters so I voted. :-)

Meghan McCain has proven herself to be an a-hole once again.. She is always so condescending and rude. I don't take anything Meghan McCain has to say too seriously. She hangs out with people like Tila Tequila and Perez Hilton for God's sake. Her book was a joke and she says she's a conservative, but she really isn't. She's a RINO and she knows it! What does Bristol voting have to do with her? NOTHING!!!! Do I think Bristol should have voted?? OF COURSE!!! Do I think it's Meghan's responsibility to point out her flaws? NO! Bristol is NOT Sarah! Meghan needs to remember that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Sorry--I agree with Meghan, there's very few good reasons not to vote, especially when your name is tied to a a well-known "political family". Meghan McCain has more class in her entire body than the Palins do in their entire family--only IDIOTS can't see that that the Palins are about fame and money otherwise she would have never QUIT her job as governor of Alaska!! And NO, I'm not a Democrat, I'm just not a Palin zombie that many Republicans seem to be!!! If that woman gets in the White House God help us all!!

Meghan has a good point. What kind of message are you sending when you're the child of a politician (and former governor) and you don't even bother to vote? I keep seeing people saying "give her a break, she's busy with her TV show" and I can't help but to pause and say WTF? This TV show she's on is nothing but a reality dance completion. She's not saving lives of working to promote a good cause, she's doing it for the same reasons every single other realty personality does a show--PUBLICITY. She "forgot" to send in her ballot!? Do you know how many WEEKS she had to send in her ballot? Plenty. And you idiots saying she's a single mother "working hard"...oh please, she's no power tab Miss McCain with her mother cleaning millions of $$$ from speaking engagements and book deals last year.

oh come on meaghan. everyone makes a mistakes (like all the demos that voted for jerry brown). heck, i thought i would be out of town so i couldnt vote and come to find out the trip got cancelled and i wound up being sick with that bad flu that is going around. but, i had a friend come by and take me to my voting spot (i was to sick to drive but not to sick to vote and wanting to spread it around, lol). hey, meghan, be happy, that your dad, a good friend of mine, won solidly, though my choice of gov's didnt. boo hoo. anyway, life goes on. but beware, that what you judge, or "slam", may come back to bite your "sushi". it has happened several times in my past. be a good girl now and go apologize to bristol for being a "brat" like me. have a good day. say hello to dad for me.

I honestly think that Megan McCain has nothing better to do with her time but to be a over bearing peice of s**t and that she is just mad that Bristal Palin has made something out of her self a hard wroking single mother. I will have to say this I am a Alaskan and YES I hope that Sarah runs in 2012 for president and I will vote for her as she was a great Governer for Alaska and she would do great in washington as a president. so I think that Megan McCain should just shut her mouth and grow up and pull her panties out of her a**. So she did not vote and I think that if you dont vote you cat bit** and dont think that she would complain about this is sorry from what she has said and that should be the end of it.

Just like BM has a opinion Megan is allowed to have her own. BP continues to be on DWS because of her popular name. She has no moves and is stiff as a brick!

You're a blow hard idiot Meghan. You never have and never will accomplish anything in your life without the virtue of your father's name. You are a mediocre writer. You are no kind of pundit, you're merely a one c**t peanut gallery throwing stones at your own party to gain attention for yourself. I know that's the fat girl's curse. But you could at least try to keep your lashing out more private and stop bothering other people that matter more than you. :)

Megan....you are fortunate in that your are a trust fund baby and your claim to fame is your Dad...all on a silver platter. Bristol is a very young woman, with a very famous polital mother, who has taken responsibility for a beautiful baby, works for a living and is on a show competing against professional actors...athletes....in an area that she has absolutely no experience. THAT takes guts! This young lady has earned the respect of so many, including myself and others I know, by simply trying and working hard. I don't see you doing that! It's very easy to criticize when, especially when you don't have to work for a living. Opinions are great but they're also like @#$$%%%$$## everyone has one. At least get a serious job so that you have some credibility. By the way, you are not a chosen representative for the young Independents, Republicans or moderates from both sides. It's hard to accept an opinion from a self elected spokes person who truly doesn't get it when a memeber of her generation is at least trying and working hard. Frankly, as a complete amateur, she has done an incredible job. By the by there are many of us who would reward her for taking on the big guys with class, kindness and extremely hard work. I forgot to vote absentee when I was your/her age when I lived overseas and now I never miss voting. Maybe you should give DWTS a shot so that you can then write/criticize about something using a bit of experience. Frankly I would love to see Bristol win because she is the epitomy of a complete amateur with no experience giving it her best shot, something you really don't seem to understand OR see everyday.....how sad!

Oh cry me a river.Get your bff Tila Tequila some help, that girl with "20 personalities" always lying and running her mouth on everybody. What a bandwagoner using people to run her mouth. She is absolute filth. Doing nude shows while kids are watching online... You cant get mad at someone for not voting. She doesnt even care for what the Palins stand for, so why does she care? She just wants a reason to bash them and what a stupid thing to bash someone for.Its not like Bristol is 60 and has never wanted to vote.I forgot in the primaries because I was busy and I am not even a young single parent whose an advocate making speeches and traveling and on a hard dancing competition! Its none of her business regardless. I dont see them going off on her for the way she lives her life and some of the "low lives" she hangs out with like Tila and Perez Hilton.

Megan, You mind your tongue now. I don't see you training to learn a new dance each week. Come of the think of it sweety you could loose a little weight. Why don't you apply for next seasons "Dancing with the stars"? You'd fit right in with the odd ball cast they assemble each season. Your a chunky girl and Marie Osmond got a diet emdorsement gig after her dancing stint. Go for it fatty! I'll vote for yah!!

  • November 04, 2010 - 11:04pm David Webber

hey, meghan get over it your dad lost not because of the palins poor campaign, and most of all every body kept saying you dad was a maverick but we all know who the maverick was and that was sarah palin , she wore the pants and your dad wore the skirt, shame on you for acting like the lame street media.take a few lessons from your dad who is a true patriot

  • November 04, 2010 - 10:44pm Peggy Keller

I think the issue is not that Bristol did not vote, but that he mother is considering running for President but somehow did not instill the importance of voting. Absentee Ballots can be mailed in over a period of weeks. And for those of you saying her people won, no they didn't. The person her mother supported and spent thousands on is losing to one of her mother's greatest political enemies. I would be very disappointed if my daughter was so removed from something that was this important to me, especially when it is Palin's supporters who are keeping her on DWTS by...VOTING.

  • November 04, 2010 - 10:12pm Lana Ess

Megan McCain is offended that Bristol may have been too overwhelmed to vote, but the the stupid wench Megan has the time to attend a "soiree" by the freak of the queers Perez Hilton??? Hey Megan "WHATEVER" dumb ass blond bimbo.

  • November 04, 2010 - 8:24pm Mary Wilkins

Meghan McCain is such a WITCH with a B! I can't wait till her 15 minutes are up! I feel so sorry for her Dad... who I'm sure is, DAILY, embarrassed by her.
