Miley Cyrus is making a long-term investment. The “Adore You” singer, 23, recently purchased a $2.5 million four-bedroom house in Malibu to share with on-again love Liam Hemsworth.
“The plan is for Liam to stay there while they reconnect, and then move in permanently when he’s ready,” a Cyrus source reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. Following a New Year’s reconciliation in Hemsworth’s native Australia, the songstress moved back into his nearby Malibu pad.
Hemsworth, 26, had previously popped the question in 2012 after three years of dating, but the pair split the following year. As Us Weekly exclusively confirmed, the couple, who met on the set of their 2010 film The Last Song got engaged again in January. “Miley and Liam are picking up exactly where they left off,” a source told Us at the time.
While the Hunger Games star isn’t packing his bags just yet, the pair are confident in their revived romance. “They know what they have is real,” adds an insider. “Miley needed some time to grow up, but she feels ready for this now.”
