Doggone adorable! Miley Cyrus took to Instagram on Sunday, July 17, to share a sweet snapshot of longtime love Liam Hemsworth and his impossibly cute dog Dora.
“So much love in one pic…. 🌹❤️😻,” the “We Can’t Stop” singer, 23, captioned the pic of her man with his precious pooch.
As Us Weekly reported in November 2015, Cyrus helped Hemsworth, 26, adopt Dora — who was named after Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer — from Wylder’s Holistic Pet Center and Rescue in L.A.’s Studio City neighborhood.
According to Wylder’s, Cyrus, who is a big supporter of pet adoption, thought the dog would be a perfect fit for Hemsworth. “Miley sent him a ton of photos – Liam was asking for photos of the dog being held,” an employee for the pet rescue told Us Weekly at the time. “Liam got back from China and literally came right to Wylder’s to take the dog home. The dog is super gentle and sweet and took right to Liam, despite being afraid of men in the past.”
While Cyrus shared a snap of herself sporting a jersey with “Hemsworth” emblazoned on it on June 19, this is the first time in a while that the Independence Day actor himself has made an appearance on the Hannah Montana alum’s Instagram page. As previously reported, the couple met on the set of 2010’s The Last Song. Although they called off their engagement in 2013, Cyrus and Hemsworth rekindled their romance in December 2015.
The duo were spotted enjoying a cozy dinner date at Nobu Malibu on Saturday, July 16. The stars, who have remained tight-lipped about their relationship, appeared to be in a good mood as they smiled and raised their middle fingers at waiting paparazzi while linking arms.
In the months since they reunited, the Disney Channel alum has been photographed wearing her engagement ring again, and sources tell Us that they plan to tie the knot in the near future.
“They’re getting married on the beach,” a source told Us in June, adding that “their parents are doing most of the work. It’s been easy!” According to the insider, the pair are planning to get married in Hemsworth’s native Australia.
