Melt our hearts! Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka’s 4-year-old twins Harper and Gideon are ready for the holidays. Harris shared an adorable Instagram video of the tots singing carols while decorating the family’s Christmas tree on Wednesday, Dec. 17.
“Yay! David is back home, and the family all together!” the How I Met Your Mother alum, 41, captioned the personal home footage. “Time to trim us a tree! #trim #carols #JingleFeels.”
Harper and Gideon wore festive pajamas for the sweet moment as they sang “Jingle Bells.” Harper donned a red-and-white striped two-piece and flower wreath headband as she held on to a beer ornament. Gideon wore a Frozen-inspired outfit (big Olaf fan!) and had eyes only for the twinkling tree.
Last week, Harris revealed that he has “no interest” in learning which twin is his biological child. (The couple welcomed their children in October 2010 via surrogate.) “We are their parents and I love them implicitly,” Harris said during Barbara Walter’s 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014 special. “We inserted one of my sperm and one of David’s sperm into two eggs with the hope that they would both take, just because we both wanted to be dads biologically,” he added. “Both took, miraculously.”
