Nick Gordon, who remains under police investigation regarding the hospitalization of girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown, is eager to appear in court, sources tell Us Weekly

“Nick is excited for the trial in the civil case to start because he can finally tell his side of the story,” an insider explains to Us, adding that Gordon claims that the circumstances that led to Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization were accidental.

According to TMZ, Gordon was unknowingly recorded three weeks after Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31 in her Atlanta, Ga., home saying: “I’ll tell you the honest truth, Krissy, she was under a lot of stress and we were all doing drugs and you know, all, all drinking, bro…She did too much man.”

Bobbi Kristina has since been moved into hospice care, and with her health deteriorating, the case surrounding her hospitalization has been handed over to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office.

"The Roswell Police Department has forwarded its investigative file to our Office," Fulton County DA Paul L. Howard, Jr. told Us last month. "In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest. An announcement regarding a charging decision, if any, will be made at the appropriate time.”

Back in February, the Roswell Police Department told Us that the case was being treated as a criminal investigation.

“Nick is very concerned with how he is being portrayed in the media and reads everything about himself on every website and magazine,” the insider adds. “He’s been going through intense mood swings, going from being on top of the world to crying hysterically for long periods.”

Since the Jan. 31 incident, Bobbi Kristina’s family has banned Gordon from seeing her. “Nick’s main concern seems to be seeing Bobbi before she dies,” the source adds. “He’s constantly trying to find a way to make that happen.”

Bobbi Kristina’s conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, filed a $10 million lawsuit on behalf of Whitney Houston’s only daughter after it was announced she’d been moved to hospice care. In the documents obtained by Us, Gordon is accused of dragging Bobbi Kristina upstairs by her hair, withdrawing her funds without authorization, and knocking out her teeth just hours before she was discovered unresponsive.
