Russell Simmons: Tiger Woods Donating to Haiti Quake Victims

Tiger Woods - who hasn't been seen since his sex scandal - is assisting in the rescue and relief effort in Haiti, which was hit by a 7.0 earthquake Tuesday.
So says hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.

On Thursday, he Twittered: "Tiger Woods is doing something AMAZING!!!! I heard [he's] donating to send a cargo plane with a mobile hospital out there. Keep ur prayers high!"

He told the New York Daily News that Woods' donation - which would total $3 million - would include having "50 EMTs to go set up a triage. I am just asking for his heart and his band. Just to meet the needs of the people."

Who the F**K cares if he did it for publicity or not. Do you see him making comments of what he did? No! One of his friends did, so you all stfu and leave this man alone.
Haitians are in need of help, here's a guy willing to help big time. does it matter if the guy cheated on his wife to help dying people? my view of him hasn't changed, but people let's put the situation in the proper perspective. it's not about Woods, it's about the Hatians.
Why say anything but "thank you" to the people who are trying to help out in Haiti. If you dummies knew anything about Tiger Woods then you know that he has always been a humanitairan, helping those lees fortutante than himself. Forget Russell Simmions. But to the person saying why doesnt he move his family in with him. Understand that is where their roots are. They might not want to leave the only home they have know. Hell I've been trying to get my grandmother to move in with me for yrs so she didnt have to stay in the country all alone. She wont budge. Its her home where she wants to die at. So people thank God that tiger wants to try and clean up his image by helping the people in Haiti. Wish u felt guilty about what u said and donated money. Focus on the people that need help instead of those doing something about it, maybe u can learn a thing our 2 from it.

It doesn't matter if there Haitians or not, they still people. If other country are reading those comments, what does that said about America. Are we a heartless country? Regardless of what anyone says I think this is a wonderful thing Tiger is doing. These people need as much help as they can get and he is willing to step up and give them support knowing the unkind remarks that will be made. I don't think the people in Haiti really care much about what he has done, but they will appreciate what he is doing to help them.
It's time to quit rebuilding cities in flood plains, tsunami areas, earthquake, etc. Look at the site www.disaster-master.biz People HAVE come up with homes designed to not have this disaster been so bad again.
