Sarah Ferguson: Royal Wedding Snub "Was So Difficult"

Did Sarah Ferguson -- the Duchess of York -- put a curse on the House of Windsor after she was excluded from her nephew William's royal wedding?
Not exactly, but it wasn't a feel-good moment for Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice's mom -- who divorced Prince Andrew after 10 years in 1996 and was mired in scandal last year, when she attempted to sell royal access to a a journalist.

"I was not invited," Ferguson, 51, says on Wednesday's The Oprah Winfrey Show. Instead, during the festivities when Beatrice, 22, and Eugenie, 21, rocked talked-about fascinators outside Westminster Abbey, "I chose to go and be in Thailand in a place called Camelia . . . the jungle embraced me," Ferguson explained.
The snub "was so difficult," the former royal continued. "Because I wanted to be there with my girls ... to be getting them dressed and to go as a family."

She added: "Also, it was so hard, because the last bride up that aisle was me." (Ferguson and Prince Andrew, 51, tied the knot in Westminster Abbey on July 23, 1986.)
Ferguson and her ex-husband, who remain amicable, were in contact during Prince William and Kate's historic day. "When Andrew went with the girls, we were talking all morning and he was saying, 'It's okay. Just remember we had such a good day. Our wedding was so perfect.' Because we're such a unit together. He made me feel very part of the day on April the 29th."

She did, in fact, catch the coverage from Thailand -- and looked back fondly on Prince William's late mother, Princess Diana. "I think Diana would be so proud of her son. Both of them, you know? They did a great job."
Ferguson has frequently spoken of her kinship with the late Diana, who passed away in 1997 at age 36. "I really love the feeling that sort of Diana and I both weren't there," she told Oprah. "But I'm here to say how proud she would have been and Kate looked utterly beautiful."

In the midst of her scandal, she admitted that she understood not being invited by her former in-laws. "I went through the phase of feeling so totally worthless and that [it] was quite right they didn't invite me. Why would they -- why would they invite me?"
Of her embarrassing flub, she explained: "I felt that I ostracized myself by my behavior, by the past, by living with all the regrets of my mistakes, that I sort of wore a hair shirt and beat myself up most of the day thinking and regretting why did I make such a mistake? Why have I made so many mistakes?"
She'll explain all in her new OWN network TV show, Finding Sarah, which debuts in June.

Yesterday, I watched Oprah interviewing her new "friend". Ferguson was PATHETIC! They both were pathetic! Ferguson trying to convince the audience that she was only looking for acceptance and love; constantly trying to make people feel sorry for her, since her mother left when she was little. She even used Princess Diana, to make people like her. Her conversation with Dr. Phil was hilarious.Two losers fighting to get the attention of the media. Really funny!!! Then, all that kiss a s s, between "O" and Sarah was too much. Oprah never makes friends with people she interviews, but this time she made an exception, after all that broke loser is still a duchess! And the duchess e-mailing Oprah, asking for love? That was the climax! Ferguson should be ashamed of herself. I don't mean what she did in the past, but what she is NOT doing in the present. SHE DOES NOT WORK! She lives in her ex-husband's house and she has the nerve to say they are good friends and he still likes her. BULLSH...! He does that for their daughters. Because she doesn't have a place to live. Everyone knows that. Oprah was happy to let everybody know that Ferguson and her were friends. What is she expecting to get from that? Just to be able to say that she is friends with a duchess? The duchess is probably trying to milk some money out of Oprah. I'd love to see that. The Queen should strip her of her title.
All I have to say is her daughters sure are ugly. They literally made me shutter when I saw them. She is no better - and somebody slept with her....ugh gross. How would you like to wake up to that?
In every direction Fergie is trash, and what's up with Oprah and her new tv channel, every has been, and some no account trash on there. No class.
Princess Diana wasn't even speaking to Sarah Ferguson at the time of her death. Why does Sarah Ferguson insist on exploiting Princess Diana in interviews. And the only reason Diana wasn't at that funeral is because she's dead. Had she lived, Diana would have stole the show, we all know that. No one could hold a candle to Princess Diana. Fergie is delusional. I am certain Fergie picked out her daughters ugly hats. That was her giant F U dircted at the Royal family. Andrew should have cut the ties with pain in the a$$, Sarah Ferguson years ago. She was nothing but an embarrashment to that family from day one.
This women has not be able to control herself even before she married Andrew. At first she put on a act to the public and the royal family. I'm thinking she must have given good BJ's because otherwise what on earth did Andrew see in her for a princess. She is a nut case and continues to not take her meds to calm her mind down.
The nerve of this woman, comparing herself to Diana. Diana wasn't there because she is dead; Ferguson was not there because she's a disgrace to the royal family. NOBODY is perfect, that's for sure. But it's not because you had a lover, Charles had Camilla and Diana had James Hewitt, I believe that was his name, it's not because of this that you are a bad person or that you have no morals. It's beyond this. Ferguson isn't a disgrace just because she cheated on her husband, she is a disgrace because she has no class, she is a liar, she's loud, she is always trying to take advantage of the royal family, always trying to make money at their expenses, so she doesn't have to do anything and then goes to Oprah pretending to have class, acting as a royal.
Randy, maybe Diana wouldn't have cheated if Charles had gotten Camilla out of his life for good after he married. Just a thought.

I remember something about some boy friend sucking on her toes in public while she was legally married. Diana was no angel during her marriage either.
Prince Charles is a disgrace. He married Diana while he was having an affair with a married woman. He continued seeing Camilla throughout his marriage. Lots of people who attended the royal wedding have done things the public wouldn't approve of.
She never brought anything but disgrace to the Royals. Even recently she was caught doing under handed things. Fergies 15 mins were up almost immediately, with the abuse she gave her "power".
Sarah Ferguson is a disgrace. She has always done her best to embarrass the royal family, wearing tacky clothes, the toe-sucking affair with another man while still married to Andrew, and then trying to sell information on the royals. She should go home and shut up; Ana is right. Sarah has no class and never did have.
What was she expecting? I don't get it. She wanted to help her girls get dressed? Not that it would make a difference, because the three of them always look terrible, but she could have helped them get dressed and then stay home. Not that she doesn't have other opportunities to help them get ready for an important event. She wanted to be part of THIS event, for the attention. She never had the royal behavior, she may be a duchess, but inside, she's just a commoner, with not a lot of class. She's lucky the Queen let her keep her title, but I'm sure she did that for her granddaughters.
