This bestie’s got your back! Taylor Swift visited BFF Blake Lively the weekend of October 15, just weeks after Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, welcomed their second child together, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
“Taylor flew in and went straight to Blake and Ryan’s house,” the source tells Us of Swift’s excursion to Westchester, New York.
Swift, 26, has previously spent time upstate with the couple, most notably at the end of August for Lively’s dual birthday and baby shower celebration. Other guests included Lively’s Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants costar Amber Tamblyn and good pal Emily Blunt.
Since welcoming their newborn to the world at the end of September, Lively, 29, and Reynolds, 39, have kept a low profile out of the spotlight, without even a hint as to the gender of their second child. (Their older daughter, James, is 22 months.)
On Thursday, October 20, however, the Deadpool actor seemed to hint at their little one’s gender in a jokey tweet he shared with fans.
“The mobile above my daughter’s crib is just a whole bunch of NuvaRings,” he tweeted. “So she remembers how lucky she is.”
In June, a very pregnant Lively joked on the Today show about the couple’s quickly expanding family.
“I’m one of five kids. My husband is one of four, so we’re officially breeders!” she said during a June 20 interview. “You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children.”
