Step aside, Zack Morris, Chris Paul is here to steal your girl.
The Los Angeles Clippers player, 29, got the birthday gift of a lifetime this week from none other than '90s hottie Tiffani Amber Thiessen. Paul, who celebrated his birthday on May 6, called Thiessen's Saved By the Bell character Kelly Kapowski his "first love."
In recognition of the candle he held for her TV past, Thiessen, 40, sent Paul a vintage headshot of herself as Kapowski. She is the perfect throwback heartthrob in the shot, complete with a big-hair blowout, massive purple earrings, and a skintight floral top.
"Chris, Happy Birthday my dear," Thiessen wrote on the picture, signing her name with a heart.
Paul took to Instagram on Tuesday, June 3, to express his excitement over the present. "This is easily one of the best Bday gifts I've ever received in my 29yrs on this Earth!!!" he wrote. "#KellyKapowski #My1stLove #WeWereTogether #SheJustDidntKnowIt #CuzImSavedByTheBell"
Later in the day, Thiessen reposted the photo, adding, "I'm blushing. Hope you have an amazing birthday."
It seems that Paul's connection with Thiessen incited some jealousy from fellow athlete and '90s child Andy Roddick. The tennis player, 31, tweeted at Paul and Thiessen on Tuesday, writing, "and now she retweeted you...... This is getting ridiculous."
The White Collar actress showed Roddick some love in return, responding, "Wow! I am feeling very loved. My day has def gotten better. Thx guys. :)"
