Tom Welling is back on the market. The Smallville actor’s wife has filed for divorce, TMZ reports. His wife, Jamie White Welling, filed documents on Oct. 16 citing “irreconcilable differences.”
According to the divorce papers, the estranged couple separated in December 2012 after 10 years of marriage. Though they don’t have any children, White Welling is asking for spousal support from the 36-year-old star.
The actor and model married in July 2002 in Martha’s Vineyard after five years of dating. The two first met in New York City.
Welling is best known for his role as Clark Kent in the CW series Smallville from 2001 to 2011. The couple lived in Vancouver until 2011 during filming, and later relocated to L.A.
