Stephen Moyer: How Anna Paquin Told Me She Was Bisexual
Millions of fans were shocked when Anna Paquin announced in April that she was bisexual. Not Stephen Moyer, her True Blood paramour and real-life fiance.
"It wasn't something that was kept from me," Moyer, 40, says in the July issue of Playboy, out Friday.
The British actor tells the mag that costar Paquin, 27, was extremely forthcoming about her past. "I've never been in a relationship before in which, literally within the first three days, all the cards were laid out."

In an online public service announcement for the Give a Damn Campaign, aimed at promoting gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality, Paquin said "I'm bisexual, and I give a damn." The Oscar-winning actress hasn't elaborated since that unexpected disclosure.
"I condone what she has done 100 percent," Moyer tells Playboy of Paquin. "It's her business to talk about it, not mine. It doesn't change anything. I'm proud of who she is."

The couple became engaged in August 2009. "It's not as though people I've been with before haven't been loving, but with Anna it's just about pure trust, on camera and off," Moyer gushes. "I have never trusted anybody like I trust Anna."
In the interview, Moyer also opens up about his own sexual awakening. "I was quite young when I started doing all right, below legal age and with somebody I knew very well," he teases of losing his virginity.

"It happened outdoors and was very naughty and unexpected. In my little village some girls reached maturity at a young age, and there was a lot of 'you show me yours and I'll show you mine' stuff happening, lots of looking and a little bit of touching too, from a very young age."

Tell Us What You Think
44Well said Eric Northman they can be faithful she can say to her husband while say watching the tv "She is hot I would not kick her out of bed!" and that is it. Hell I do it with my husband I am straight of course but I can admire female beauty and I am confident in my sexuality and the love I have for him to say it I have said a few times "Yeah I agree (his name) she is hot if I was gay I would not kick her out of bed!". And it does not mean a darn thing I have gay, straight, bi,trans-gender friends and the onces who are with a partner are faithful it depends on the person not what defines them! some people need tp crack open a book and learn more before making snap judgments on what they do not understand, do not want to even try! or casting judgment on someone who is not "normal" or "different" who has the right walking on this earth to say what is or is not..if everyone was the same and acted the same life would be pretty boring don't you think. I love m friends and family for their differences each one gives me something another can't and for that I am not going to apologise saying I know some pretty extaordinary gay,bi and trans-gender friends and would not exchange one of them for someone who is "Normal".
people are acting like Gay and Bi defines who people are as a person...since when can Bi people not be faithful? it just defines who they are attracted to, for straight people, who they are sexually attracted to is only a part of who they are, not the whole thing, same with gays, lesbians, and bis.
some of these comments are disgusting. Anna definitely did not reveal her bisexuality for attention, as the PSA was the only time she ever said anything about it, she didn't comment on it afterward or whatever. And all of this anti-gay and anti-bisexual crap is despicable. The only reason people are homophobic is because society tells us that romantic and sexual relationships should be between a man and a woman. if society told us that these relationships should be between two people of the same gender, there would be people who were prejudiced against heterosexuals. Clearly if some people are attracted to people of the same sex, God wanted them that way. And to Chardonay: plenty of straight people act like immature clowns too. In fact, you being a homophobe is pretty damn immature if you ask me. And Kiwi: Love has to do with who two people are emotionally and mentally, it has nothing to do with what gender they are. Two women or two men can love eachother just as easily as a man and a woman can.
i think all of you should leave Anna alone. Who cares if she's bisexual? That's her business and you shouldn't judge her based on that information. Her sexual preference is her prefrence and so what if it's not yours. She's a very good actress and maybe that's why everyone has something to say about it. I don't think you'd be saying the same thing about a person who isn't on the big screen.
The women are too confiding when comes to his exploit in the dormitory. There is a false idea that simply because they are a lot easier ones for the men to attain their big one an OR, the women ripen to adultfindout.co.nz has at not to treat very hard. Or that only is interested in the blow bam, the good caramel in the evening. While maybe to be the truth for somewhere of meteorologists, is not at last true for more.

I swear, the level of negativity in these comments is appalling. This whole man + woman = baby thing is such bull. There are plenty of heterosexual couples that can't have babies. Not being able to have babies does NOT make your relationship any less special. People using God to support any beliefs about homosexual relationships should stop being so prejudiced. I don't think God would appreciate your behavior (after all, you're supposed to love thy neighbor, not be a total jerk to those who find love in other places than you do). I doubt Anna Paquin's confession of her bisexuality is a ploy for attention. She doesn't let other people tell her who to be. People should NOT judge others when they know absolutely nothing about them. Spread your negativity elsewhere.
i agree with the posts about her revealing that she is bi for attention. Who knows if Allen Ball put her up to it or it was for her own ego. Ive met many so called "bi" women and they all lov/cannot be without the attention that it gets them from guys. Basically its their sole topic for their evenings. The guys get turned on thinking that this person's sh@t must smell like fairy dust. But its the same smelling crap. It makes them feel soo damn special telling everyone that they like to eat kitty cats. With anna p. i believe its really hollywood narcissim-- neg attention is better than no attention at all.
On behalf of Chardonay, I'd like to offer my eggs to all gay people who want to have children.
chardonay ~ I have been married for 8 years and trying to have a child with my husband for 6. I have had miscarriage after miscarriage and am doing in vitro so we can have a family. I am using a donor egg. How dare you say that sharing DNA is what makes you a parent. Moreover, what about all the wonderful people who adopt? There are plenty of "parents" who don't take care of or give any love to their offspring. What a horribly closed-minded and ignorant way of life. I feel sorry for you.
Jesus was delivering his Sermon on the Mound. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone," he said, when, out of the crown a rock flew up and hit him in the head. "Knock it off, Mother!" Jesus shouted back. Anna Paquin is the beautiful little girl who was speechless and in tears when she won an Oscar for the Piano. "Whomsoever touches your heart, touches your soul." I said that, and no rocks flew. I'd take her any day if she were not already took.
I'm apalled to the things I've read here... gay relatioships are perverted, man+woman=baby... so I guess that heterosexual women that don't want to have babies BY CHOICE are perverted too... Well it shouldn't surprise me that such a puritanical and hypocritical society like the american that demands an apology from Tigger Woods for cheating on HIS WIFE claims that an Anna Paquin is perverted for being outspoken about her bisexuality (which she did to suppurt a cause she believes in)... you people desperately need to get a life, go raise your 8 little babies in your little houses and go to your stupid little churches and keep following your false -gay and drogaddict- preachers!
Love is not love. Sexual involvement with same gender is sick. Man is supposed to be with woman and vice versa. Gay sex acts are perverted. Where food (waste) is disposed of -- sorry, that is not meant for sex. You can screw til the cows come home, you will never be able to make a baby together, a child that shares the DNA of both parents. You have to spend the rest of your life passing off someone else's child with different DNA as your own. Adoption, surrogacy or donar situations are not the same as having your own kid with your partner. Let's remember here gays can't even do that no matter how much they try. Too bad they couldn't find someone of the opposite sex so they can actual participate in the process of conceiving the way nature intended -- by opposite sex unions. Homosexuality is not normal and it never will be. And who can take these people normally when they can like a bunch of immature clowns and monekys during their dumb pride parades? They're all ridiculous, including the poster below calling people losers. Looks like he's a loser himself who needs to get a life.
Why is there so much negativity? Get a life losers! Love is love, man and man, woman and woman, man and woman. It's not YOUR LIFE, did any of you stop to think about that? You don't agree, so you talk crap. I'm a vegetarian, you gonna call me a freak? Go for it, cause I couldn't care less about what you think. Open your mind a little. This isn't the middle ages.
Who really cares? These annoucements seem so faddish to me, like it is the 'in' thing to be or do, like a hairstyle. What these gays and lesbians are essentially doing with these 'grand' annoucements is unknowingly telling the world that it is a lifestyle choice..and I need attention...ooh-whoo, look at me....BFD
Man + Woman = Baby = family unit Sorry, but two guys or two women can never make this happen unless they get outside help. Bisexuality is a waste of time. Only the sex-obsessed validate it. If you're admitting other attractions and you know you're about to be married, you're severly messed up -- whether your a regular person or celebrity. Sorry, but that's the painful truth. Accept it. The Hollywood culture is pathetic.
...
When a straight woman marries a man, she is still heterosexual even if she is attracted to other men.
