Sound the alarm! Allison Williams attended the 8th Annual Blossom Ball on Tuesday, April 19, in NYC — and she was not wearing one of her usual sweet frocks.
The Girls actress, 28, instead donned a navy-blue Nina Ricci dress with a completely sheer lace bodice (teamed with a lace bralette for a touch of modesty). She accessorized with diamond dangling earrings.

Williams, who tied the knot with Ricky Van Veen last September, was in attendance to support her costar and Girls creator, Lena Dunham. The event was hosted by the Endometriosis Foundation of America, and Dunham, who suffers from the disorder, was an honored guest for raising awareness.

After Williams introduced 29-year-old Dunham, the Tiny Furniture actress gushed about her costar onstage. “I love Allison so much,” she told the crowd while accepting her award. “You’ve been my sister for six years now. You’ve been such an amazing support and you’ve taken such good care of me, and I’m really happy that you allowed me to direct you in pivotal emotional scenes when I was on large amounts of Percocet. I feel sure that was fun for you and that you felt that the ship was really being steered in a great direction, so I love you so much, thank you.”
And the Peter Pan Live! actress returned the love via Instagram. “This one. Got to talk about how brilliant she is for a few minutes last night at the Blossom Ball,” Williams wrote. “@lenadunham I love you. F–k Endometriosis. ❤️.”
