Amal Alamuddin rocked a navy dress with red trim at dinner with George Clooney at Caravaggio restaurant on April 28 in NYC.

Amal Alamuddin, are you even real? The British barrister, 37, stepped out to dinner in NYC on Tuesday, April 28, working an adorable dress, fierce shoes, and the bounciest blowout to boot.

Enjoying a night out between days teaching at Columbia Law School, Alamuddin headed to Caravaggio with husband George Clooney working a navy blue Alexander McQueen frock, printed with white flowers and trimmed in red ($2,758). She also added super-sexy Giambattista Valli lace-up heels ($1,100).

Because this isn’t amateur hour, Alamuddin even managed to find a red statement lipstick in what appears to be the same exact shade as the crimson on her dress.

Earlier that day, Alamuddin impressed with her dressed-down street style, too. The London-based beauty hit the streets in a nude leather jacket by J Brand ($1,295) teamed with a caramel sweater, slightly distressed Citizens of Humanity skinny jeans ($248), the Ballin “Amal” bag ($1,081), and Gucci python booties ($1,595).

The international human rights lawyer has become quite the style star as of late, thanks to a little help from an unexpected source: Clooney. “George is very involved [in selecting her outfits],” a source tells Us Weekly.

And the insider added that top designers are more than eager to send clothes: “Anna Wintour made all the calls for loans in the beginning, but then designers started to send bags and bags, and racks of clothing. Sometimes Amal will take stuff that totals up to $30,000 from one designer alone!”
