See what you could have, Skylar Astin? Pitch Perfect's Anna Camp is the striking cover girl for Garden & Gun's April/May 2014 issue where she wears a strapless, tulle-covered wedding dress with statement cowboy boots.
For the magazine's "Hollywood Issue," Camp, 31, was one of the many stars featured, including John Goodman and Octavia Spencer. The Aiken, South Carolina native opened up about transitioning from the South to Hollywood after her roles in shows like True Blood and The Good Wife, plus hit films like The Help and Pitch Perfect helped launch her career.
"There’s a crew of Southerners out here," she said of her new Los Angeles address. "It’s always nice when I hear that accent. When I have a glass of wine, mine starts to slip out, too."
Though she often plays perfectionist characters on the big screen, she tries to keep her intensity to a minimum in real life.
"I think at my core I’m a perfectionist," she admitted. "But I’ve learned over the years to not hold on too tightly and to ease up on myself if I’m not perfect. When I was younger, in college and in New York City, I definitely studied really hard and overprepared for auditions. Now I realize that you do better work when you can let go more."
Wearing a wedding dress isn't a new experience for Camp, who was married to actor Michael Mosely in 2010 before separating in 2013. In June 2013, Us Weekly broke the news that she was dating her Pitch Perfect costar Skylar Astin, 26.
Almost a year later, the pair still appear to be head over heels for one another, frequently showing off PDA on social media.
