She’s the ultimate fashion plate, but at the end of the day, Cate Blanchett just wants a cozy outfit to fly in like the rest of Us! That said, her casual and our casual are a little bit different.

Case in point: The Oscar-winning actress, 46, chose a pair of black overalls and buckled slip-on sneakers for her flight into Tokyo on Wednesday, January 20. She also rocked a long-sleeved tee, cat-eye sunnies and a crossbody bag.
Easy, breezy — and amazingly pricey. While Blanchett’s Chloe overalls ring in at $1,345, her crystal-studded shoes by Roger Vivier cost a cool $1,325. (If you’re doing the math at home, those two items alone come to $2,670.)

Nevertheless, we are talking about Us Weekly‘s Best Dressed Woman of 2015, so it’s hardly a surprise that even her most seemingly low-maintenance items are from fashion’s top houses.
Blanchett has been jetting around the globe to promote Carol, for which she received her seventh Oscar nomination. (She’s won two: for The Aviator in 2005 and for Blue Jasmine in 2014.)
