Emma Roberts Goes Blonde, Says "Guys Check Me Out More"

Blondes really do have more fun.
Emma Roberts, 18, debuted blonde hair at the Friday premiere of her drama, Twelve -- and she tells UsMagazine.com she's garnering a lot of attention from guys.

"I had a really good time being brunette, but being blonde... I've had an equally good time. Guys check me out more, which is weird," she told Us. "When I had brown hair, girls would tell me I was pretty all the time, and then with blonde hair, guys tell me I'm pretty a lot. So I really don't know what that means."

Roberts prefers the new 'do, inspired by her role in drama It's Kind of a Funny Story (costarring Zach Galifianakis; out in November 2010).
"I wanted to change it up... I feel happier as a blonde," said the actress, who donned Miu Miu to the premiere. "I feel quite peppy lately."

She says she'll keep the look for awhile.
"It took literally two days to get it from brown to blonde, so I'm kind of not looking forward to spending 48 hours in the hair chair yet again," she told Us.

i think every female wishes she were blond sometimes.. i'm a blond and i want to be platinum! Emma looks great because shes stunning anyways, but honestly most people look best if they stay close to their natural hair colour!
Naturally they notice you more. They think blondes are easier to get into bed. If you REALLY want to get noticed, try running a comb through your hair and getting it styled.
I think every brunette girl goes through a phase where she wants to be a blonde. I certainly did. I went blonde when I was 26. Found out it was too much maintenance, and people treated me like I was stupid. Which is dumb, because I don't think anyone is stupid based on a haircolor. But I think Emma will realize how much of a hassle regular maintenance is, and go back. But, hey, she tried it! I've gotta give her credit for that.

She looks soooo much better brunette, it flatters her skin tone more. The blond looks un-natural and a weird color - not sure if that's the lighting or not. Not every girl is meant to be blond!

I'm a little surprised that that 'do is the result of two days of effort. The color looks a little un-natural and it's not flattering. She's a cute girl, but her hair still needs work.
