That‘s one full — and beautiful — house! Lori Loughlin‘s Aunt Becky character may have lived in the attic with Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) on Full House, but now, the actress and mom of two has room to spare and then some at her Los Angeles mansion.
Married to fashion entrepreneur Mossimo Giannulli since 1997, Loughlin — whose When Calls the Heart airs Saturdays on Hallmark Channel — renovated her family’s newly purchased home with stunning results.
After all, Loughlin, 50, and her husband are no strangers to getting their hands dirty with home renos: Prior to moving into their 7,000-square-foot Beverly Hills manse, the duo spiffed up seven properties in California and one in Aspen.
When it came time to move their two daughters, Isabella, 16, and Olivia, 15, to a new zip code, the couple had a plan of action to redesign their space. First on Loughlin’s list: Replace the gaudy decor, which the actress tells Elle Decor was akin to “Siegfried & Roy meets Liberace.”
Loughlin let her husband — the founder of the Mossimo clothing brand who currently owns golf wear line G/FORE — take the lead on creating the home of their dreams. “My girlfriends say, ‘You’re a saint,'” she told Elle Decor. “But it’s always been his passion, and I roll with it because he does the heavy lifting. I know it will turn out beautifully.”
Among the stunning touches in the Giannullis’ manse: A cozy and serene living space that isn’t too flashy but still screams elegance.
In a sitting area just off the kitchen, light pours in through geometric floor-to-ceiling windows, and offers easy backyard access and the olive tree-lined pool.
Upstairs in Loughlin’s bathroom, the actress can unwind in her white marble tiled bathroom with a custom-made vanity and Waterworks tub. Her and Giannulli’s master bedroom — designed by Maine Design — is swathed in Deborah Sharpe Linens, 18th-century embroidered silk, and a Mark Nelson rug.
Not to be outdone, Loughlin’s daughter Olivia’s room is any teen’s dream, with a custom-made bed and Mark Albrecht leather-covered bench, with furnishings by Restoration Hardware.
