The new season of Pretty Little Liars started earlier this month and with the return of the addictive show comes a slew of new secrets. (Is Ian really dead? Why is Melissa acting so weird? And who is A?!!)

One mystery that has been solved is how Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily, gets her hair to look so freaking gorgeous.
The 23-year-old actress is the new face of the Pantene Pro-V Nature Fusion Collection. And not only did we get Mitchell to spill her top hair tricks, but she also took Us Weekly on an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the show's set (watch the video above).

US: What's your hair routine when you're not shooting?
SM: I use Pantene Nature Fusion Moisture Balance. Everyday one set we're using blow-dryers, flatirons and curling irons, so when I’m not working I just let it air-dry.
US: What's your must-have product?
SM: I can't live without mousse. When my hair is damp I put it at the roots. When I blow dry my hair it makes it so much bouncier. It gives you shampoo commercial hair and makes your blowout so much better.
US: Do you have any say in how your character Emily's hair should look?
SM: I work with a hairstylist everyday. Emily is really sporty, but that doesn't mean she can't wear her hair down.
US: Who's your Hollywood hair crush?
SM: I didn't realize how many actresses have tons of extensions. Their hair is still pretty, but it blew my mind to find that out. I admire the girls who switch it up a lot like Rihanna. But I also love Gisele Bundchen because she found a style that works and never changes it.
