Taking the plunge! Lily Aldridge was red hot at the launch of the 2016 ‘Sports Illustrated’ Swimsuit Issue on Tuesday, February 16.
She sizzled in a steamy crimson dress by Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture with glittery details, side cutouts and a dangerously low V-neckline. Matching heels completed her bold, sexy look.
Since the dress provided its own sparkle, Aldridge, 30, didn’t accessorize with flashy baubles. She also kept her hair and makeup to a minimum with a sleek, low chignon and a fresh-faced look featuring bold brows and nude lips.
This is the Victoria’s Secret Angel’s third time posing for the coveted Swimsuit Issue. “Everyone who works on [the magazine] is just so wonderful that there’s really no reason for any of us to ever be nervous. It was more of the same amazing experience,” she told Us Weekly exclusively about her time shooting.
But the mom of one isn’t the only model we’ve seen rock this particular design. Bella Hadid worked her lithe figure in a black, long-sleeved version at the 2016 Grammys on Monday, February 15, where she made her red carpet debut as a couple with “Can’t Feel My Face” singer The Weeknd (whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye).
“This is YOUR day baby! I’m so proud of you ❤️I feel so lucky to be by your side 👑,” she wrote via Instagram along with a picture of the pair, who have been dating for nine months.
The model and younger sister to Gigi Hadid, 19, accessorized her sparkling Alexandre Vauthier number with a black clutch, diamond bangles and Alexander Wang shoes.
Like Aldridge, she opted for sleek hair, parted in the middle and tucked behind her ears. Hadid’s makeup was a bit more glam than Aldridge’s, with a rose-gold smoky eye and a blush lip.
