Her name may be “No,” she’s saying yes to these sneaks!
Meghan Trainor is the face of Skechers Originals retro sneaker collection, the brand announced on March 10. For the “All About That Bass” singer, 22, the title is “an honor and a dream.”
“I can’t wait to travel the world and see my face in Skechers stores — it still blows my mind!” she gushed in a statement.
A preview of her campaign — which features her lead single, “No,” from her upcoming album Thank You — shows the Grammy-winning singer rocking the seriously adorable — and yet-to-be-released — floral OG 85s with her fresh red locks flowing in the wind.
“For my new album I wanted to change it up with a different sound and a fresh new look — including my red hair transformation,” she explained.
Trainor first debuted her hair color and cut in a February 11 Instagram post. Her locks were actually auburn, but the filter that she used made it look red.
“I was like, ‘Crap, y’all, we got to get this going! We got to make this red!'” she told Amazon’s Style Code Live. “I feel more intense, more confident, more sassy [as a redhead].”
The retro collection offers printed and solid styles from $65-$75.
