Forget those arms! Michelle Obama has a newsworthy new 'do!

The First Lady, 45, debuted a shorter, above-the-shoulder bob on Tuesday when she and President Barack Obama attended funeral services for Vice President Joe Biden's mother.
She told reporters it was just "a little cut," but approximately two inches have been chopped off.

This isn't the first time Michelle's hair has caused a stir. Back in July, she showed off an elegant, seemingly shorter style that was actually the work of pins and a clever "tuck up" technique by hairstylist Johnny Wright.

Since then, however, she had allowed her hair to grow out. In November and December, she wore it mostly in an updo, tucked under or pulled into a tight bun.
Obama's team had no comment on why she shortened her hair.

55People can make all the racists remarks they want about Michelle Obama, but she is one intelligent classy lady who has a brain in her head which works. She looks just fine to me and she represents the USA in a classy feminine manner.

With all due respect to her position in our world, the First Lady is no Jackie O! It would be fun to have another Jackie O to set the fashion trends.
Carolyn if thats wat you care about read the newspaper not a gossip site...i get i care about those things too but this site doesnt so read something else and dont complain that these people arent focusing on "the real issues" most likely they are but they get paid for this, this is their job and if they didn't have this job they'd one more unemployed person and we dont want that do we >:) (you said it yourself)
Does anyone monitor these comments? Some of the ones listed below are racist and very nasty. We all are allowed our opinions but it's rediculous what people are allowed to get away with in print.

Why is this news and who cares. She has the financial means and help now to do anything and everything she wants.

Wow! I can feel the love on this page! :-/ Ok. first off, I don't think that she's ugly. . . but I don't see a change in her hairdo, therefore I don't see it as newsworthy. As for their administration, there is a lot that I don't agree with, in fact MOST of it, but I pray that God blesses our President and his family. And God bless our Country, because we definitely need it!

m: To answer your question, she has a bad underbite and large teeth. Also, cutting hair 2 inches is hardly a "new do". As for him, now only 36% say they'd vote for Obama. 14 months too late. Sigh.
I do not think the picture is that flattering to the First Lady. I think if they had taken another picture without the helicopter disrupting her appearance with the rotors it might have helped.
