Blues singer Michael Grimm tells UsMagazine.com it still hasn't "sunk in" that he has won America's Got Talent.
"I can’t put it into words," he tells Us. "I keep trying to find words, but it's too big for me."
The 30-year-old Mississippi native beat 10-year-old soprano singer Jackie Evancho of Pittsburgh, taking home the $1 million prize.
"I'm not going to be a millionaire for long!" he tells Us. "A lot of the money is going to go to the community and charities and my grandparents and family that need this. You know, I don't need that much."
He plans on building his grandparents a new house.
"I want that house made just for them!" he says, adding that he also may even surprise his girlfriend with a ring.
Grimm says overall his life "will be easier on the financial end, but I am the same me and I'm not changing myself.”
"I'm going to talk to Sony and a couple other labels," he tells Us. "We will talk about some albums and get this thing rolling."
