Angelina Jolie has been banned from filming her directorial debut in Bosnia.

The filming permit has been rejected because no screenplay was attached to the application, as required by law.

Several female victims from the Bosnian war have objected to the film, which tells the story of a Serbian man and Bosnian woman who fall in love in the middle of the 1992-1995 war.

It was reported in Bosnia-Hercegovina that the love story would be between a Serbian rapist and his Muslim victim.

Still no word from Jolie, 35. She has been shooting in Budapest, Hungary. Earlier this week, she received an on-set visit from Brad Ptt.
