Brad Pitt Takes on New Superhero Role for His Kids

Who can Brad Pitt thank for his next movie role? His kids!
On Tuesday's Today show, he tells Ann Curry that he signed on to voice the character of a superhero who wants out of the business in a new animated movie to please his six kids.

Asked if his character is autobiographical, Pitt laughed and replied, "It's really not, but it sounded good...."
He said that the Dreamworks Animation film -- known as Oobermind by trade publications -- will also star Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey.

"It's something [my kids] will enjoy and think dad is cool," he says of signing on to the film.
