Burn! Kanye West better hope he’s never in the position of needing Brody Jenner to save his life — especially if there are other people in peril alongside him.
During the season 10 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on Sunday, March 15, Brody and dad Bruce Jenner met up with Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick, and a few other friends in Las Vegas, where he tipsily revealed his true feelings about the “Only One” rapper, 37.
Brody, 31, memorably skipped out on stepsister Kim Kardashian‘s wedding to West last June, after the reality TV star and her then-hubby-to-be declined to extend a plus-one to the Hills alum.
“Kim and Kanye — very happy for them, but do you think that they were really like, ‘We have to have Brody and Kaitlynn there. If they’re not there, then this wedding is not gonna happen,'” he said to a pal, referring to girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter. “Nobody really gave a f–k if Kaitlynn or I [came].”
Bruce then brought up the fact that Brody attended the wedding of Kim’s ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush just a few weeks later, to which the Princes of Malibu star replied, “Of course, why wouldn’t I? Why wouldn’t I? I love Reggie.”
He didn’t stop there, though. “Put Kanye and Reggie together in a burning building, guess who I’m saving?” he continued. “Reggie, Reggie all the way.”
Kim and the NFL star, 30, dated on and off for several years until 2010. She went on to marry basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011 before ultimately finding love with West, dad to their 21-month-old daughter North. Bush, meanwhile, married Lilit Avagyan, with whom he has a 22-month-old daughter, Briseis.
Brody previously explained his absence at Kimye’s wedding by saying he had other plans that weekend. He also said he wasn’t as close with Kim’s latest beau as he was with her ex.
“To be completely honest, I don’t know Kanye. Like, at all,” he admitted on his podcast last July. “I really don’t. I’ve had one conversation with him that maybe lasted 15 seconds or 20 seconds. I’ve known Reggie for a very long time. Reggie dated Kim for years and I developed a very close relationship with Reggie and Lilit. We spent a lot more time together as a whole.”
In other Jenner news, Brody’s brother Brandon just announced that he and his wife Leah are expecting their first child together. The couple married in May 2012.
