Chris Brown's headed to the silver screen!
The singer-actor's rep tells Us Weekly that Brown, 22, will play a role in the upcoming comedy Think Like a Man. The highly-anticipated film is an adaptation of Steve Harvey's New York Times best-selling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.

Harvey, 53, published the nonfiction book in 2009 to teach women "what men really think about love, relationships, intimacy and commitment."
In the no-nonsense book, Harvey provides "some valuable information" to empower women about how to better deal with the men in their lives.

Brown's real-life romances have been a far cry from romantic-comedy material. In Feb. 2009, he was arrested on domestic violence charges for felony abuse on then-girlfriend Rihanna. "Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired," he said in a statement.
The "Next 2 You" singer continued to struggle with his temper. In March 2011, when asked by Robin Roberts on Good Morning America about the incident with Rihanna, Brown was visibly irritated, then went on to smash a dressing room window by throwing a chair at it.

18we all make mistakes and i personnally i have forgive chris, i think ryt now he has a lot to deal with and it hurting me people ryt bad staff about him they never gave him a break, i compare him to the late michael jackson he strangled bad publicity that he could not control it, it was 1 against the world ,it will be fine chris i tell you god is god
chris looks gud in that pic luv dha hair colour
I think it's a comedy. Because R.Kelly got cast as a middle school teacher, and OJ Simpson & Tiger Woods are vying for spots as a marriage counsellors.
@Hope Muhoza Kirenga, if you're going to attempt to insult others, you may want to ensure your writing can be understood. A free dictionary can be found online.
so happy for you chris, wish you all the best and can't wait to see the movie, love you lots
@ Ray Kevin - Chris Brown is a VERY talented singer, dancer, music writer, producer, actor and budding director and entrepreneur. As with Justin Beiber, a VERY talented singer and self-taught (since a toddler) musician of many instruments who also dances, acts and is an entrepreneur. CLEARLY there is LOTS to speak of concerning TALENT with these two young men. I suggest you avail yourself of Google, Twitter or MTV to keep up with the outpouring of projects that transpire from the constant outflow of talent and creativity from these two.
I am so happy for you breezy and wish him all the best. "browns real life romances have been a far cry from romantic-comedy". if I remember correctly its one romance rihanna. go breezy, cant wait to see the movie! #teambreezy
People like you make me lauph. do you airheads think chris brown gives a tiny speck of issh about what names you call him??? who's in the movie and making all the millions??? HIM. not you, do me a favour, go kick rocks or something. figure out a way to deal with the fact that you have sad sad lives and the best you can do to shed some light on the miserable little situation you've got going on is try to bring someone down to your level. give the fucc up and get a fuxxing life! yet you call HIM the loser?!?!?! jelous fux. #TellUsWhyYouAreReallyMad and to the idiot below me who relates the words "no talent" to "chris brown" in the same breath... i am not even going to try to go there with you. nuff said.
America has no talent should be a new show and this guy should be the first guest. With that blond hair he's sporting all he needs is some boobs and its on daddy!
When I see this guy I see why there is no talent anymore! They just let any two time Bieber sing around with no talent! And with that blond hair he's sporting all he needs is some boobs and its on daddy!
couldnt you have picked some one else hes not a good example
people kills me judging him..worry about your kids and teach them from right and wrong.he made a mistake and he will never forget what he did so let him live his life.
It's a sad day when society quickly forgets what an abusive, angry ass he is and lets him perform on "Dancing With the Stars" and be in a movie like nothing happened.
Until he actually takes responsiblity for his actions and goes through much needed therapy for his blaring anger issues, he doesn't deserve any kudos.
Gee, a d*uchebag hiring another d*uchebag to be in a movie that belittles women based on a book that belittles women... Why do people give these two money??
Please tell me what his PAST has to do with him starring in this movie? Absolutely nothing! smh anyway looking forward to the film.
He continues with his bad behaviour and is one of those people who comes to fame but never got the education of a mature and responsible man. Obnoxious and without any self control or respect towards others they do not disappear but show up again and again, like sh$t on the surface of water...dumb audiences make that happen.
Can you say L-O-S-E-R?????????????????????? Nuff said!
