Elisabeth Hasselbeck is letting her husband, former NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, take her seat as co-host of the daytime talk show -- and she'll be filling in for him at ESPN!

"So many times we ask, 'How did work go today?'" Elisabeth said. "Undoubtedly we will be finding out the hard way as we switch jobs. The question then will be, 'What have we gotten ourselves into?'"

She will serve as an NFL Live analyst on Jan. 19 and will appear on other ESPN programs in her husband's place. Tim will chat alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters for one episode of The View Jan. 28.

5At least Whoopie can talk. EH chirps. I just won't watch ESPN when she's on. I guess she can't help it.
I love Elisabeth and I can't wait for her husband to fill in. Elisabeth is the only reason I tune into the view, Whoopi thinks everything she says is right, Joy can't stop bashing President Bush and Sherry just seems to be a little lost.
I hope the Hasselbeck switch doesn't become a habit. I (for one) cannot stand The View or Elisabeth H.
