Gabrielle Carteris Is Open to a Beverly Hills, 90210 Reunion: It “Could Be Interesting”

Gabrielle Carteris talked with Us Weekly at the 2015 SAG Awards about the possibility of a Beverly Hills, 90210 reunion -- see what she said about that, Shannen Doherty's recent Jason Priestley diss, and more

Party at the Peach Pit! Long before she was named executive vice president of SAG-AFTRA — a position that scored her a coveted seat at Jennifer Aniston‘s table at the 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 25 — Gabrielle Carteris lit up screens as Andrea Zuckerman on the beloved ’90s TV show Beverly Hills, 90210, a role for which she is still recognized today, almost 15 years after the series finale.

“We were lucky it was a phenomenon,” Carteris, now 54, told Us Weekly at the 21st Annual SAG Awards, where she wowed in a white strapless BCBG frock.

Asked whether she still hangs out with any of her former costars, she replied, “I do, yeah. I keep in touch with Jason [Priestley], Luke [Perry], and Ian [Ziering].”

As for the others? “Jennie [Garth]’s kids went to school with mine, so I would see Jennie,” she shared. “But Jason and I were close through all those years. And Luke and Ian.”

Incidentally, Priestley was in the news recently for his interaction with another former 90210 star: actress Shannen Doherty, who played his twin sister Brenda on the series. Doherty was doing a radio show earlier this month when she brought up Priestley’s book, and his claim that she threw a fit when she was picked up in a taxi instead of a limo.

“I love Jason, but you know he had a car accident, a racing accident, and I think maybe parts of his memory got altered from that,” she told SiriusXM host Jenny Hutt at the time.

Carteris, for one, hadn’t heard about any of that. Asked about it at the SAGs, she said, “I didn’t know that! Really? Oh, whatever! I didn’t even know she said that. It’s so easy to place blame. It’s just so easy.”

For her part, she has nothing but fond memories of the show. “It was a great time in my life,” she told Us.

So, might there be a reunion in the future? “Everybody is in really different places now so I don’t know if they would do it, but I know Luke wanted to create something, so that could be interesting,” she dished. “If we get everybody to tweet about it and use social media, maybe it will happen.”

Hear that, 90210 fans?
