Jennifer Aniston is turning love into a full-time job!
"Jen's taking a year off from work to enjoy herself," an Aniston insider tells the current issue of Us Weekly (out now).

Indeed, a second source familiar with her schedule confirms that after Horrible Bosses and the October release of Wanderlust, the only thing on her plate is developing The Goree Girls, her production company's years-old project about singers in a women's prison.

And guess who she's picked to juice up the script? "She wants to collaborate with [Justin Theroux]," a source says of Aniston's latest beau, who won screenwriter cred with Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2.

"She's impressed by his ability to find humor in dry material," the source tells Us.

36It's February 7, 2012. And now, a reality check... 1. At the time this article was posted, "Horrible Bosses" was just about to be released - it became a huge hit over the summer of 2011. 2. The release of "Wanderlust" was delayed until later this month so that Aniston could focus all of her attention in early October on promoting her breast cancer movie "Five," including screenings in New York and Washington, D.C. 3. She was one of the recipients of ELLE magazine's annual "Women In Hollywood" awards which were given out in mid-October. 4. She also appeared as a presenter at the American Cinemetheque Salute to Robert Downey, Jr. (congrats, by the way, on the birth of his new son!) and at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards (presenting an award to BFF Chelsea Handler). So even though Jen has taken a break from acting she still has been in the public eye one way or another. And as for "The Goree Girls," I'm certain she will do it when she's good and ready... maybe a musical will break her out of her rom-com rut ("Bosses" sure did)!
Good not more dumb chic flicks for awhile, leave it the the other dumb actresses, give them some roles. Good riddance.
Smail Buzzby, I feel really sorry for people like you, who feel the compulsion to say horrible things about people who are superior to you in order to feel better about yourself. It won't change the fact that they're superior to you in every way, but hey, if it makes you feel better about YOU, then knock yourself out!
Yeah! A whole year without any of her crappy unromantic uncomedies! Maybe she won't appear on the Daily Show and waste a the final segment there? And she is 'developing' something with a guy who has two horrible scripts under his belt! Except that she is having sex with him which means he will run away screaming in a matter of weeks. Then she will be lonely and sad that she is not on TV or in a movie and before you know it she will be in another crummy movie. Three months, tops.
Thank you, Tricia! I get sick of people like Sofie who are so obsessed with AJ that they feel they have to constantly put Jen down. WHY, WHY, WHY??? Is it because people like Sofie find Jen to be threatening in some way? Sofie and others like you, if you don't LIKE Jen, then please do us ALL a favor, and skip the articles about her instead of making derogatory comments about her just to make you feel better about your AJ-stalker selves!!!
If she had children with brad there is a good chance he would have cheated on her anyway. It wouldn't have mattered to Jolie.. what she wants she gets and she doesn't seem to care who she stomps on to get it.. She always said shed never go with a married man and yet she went after brad because he could open doors for her that none of her other lovers could....Jen should be happy that she did not have any children with him because he showed who he is and she is better off without him..
Good. Maybe she'll recharge and actually put out a good movie for once.

Why are people so interested. Over the years she's made lousy movies. She's also starting to come under the category (ala Cameron Diaz) as getting promiscuous, darting from man to man.
She is so morphing into Barbra Steisand.
Jen is very popular, and doesn't need a kid, especially without a husband, to get people to like her better.

she plays some movies better dont care what anyone thinks i watch her movies even men like watching her ok people will never give this girl a credit look how many actors won an oscar and they suck
some artist fit to play certain role, perhaps jennifer fit or comfortable playing on those kinda movies. angie good in playing serious and action movie, but i dont think shes good in playing rom-com, thats why movie have casting guys, stop ditching on her movies, is it because you dont play oscar degree movies means you're a bad actress.. does they have to make a serious movie allllllllllllll the time???! thats why they have genre, for god sake.. if you dont like her dont watch her movie, dont read her article..!

She is really great to watch. She (or any woman) doesn't need kids to be happy. I am not surprised she would take a year off to live a more private life for awhile. Some other so called actresses need to stay away for their kids sake, and forego their selfish self absorbed selves, for the kids they have.

She sorta looks heavy in this picture! Very weird since she always looks pretty trim...is it the angle? Is it must me or do her arms look a bit flabby? It's also not a very flattering dress, though...
