Exclusive: Kate Gosselin Acts Like "Major Celebrity" on DWTS; Demands Bodyguard
Kate Gosselin is so standoffish on Dancing With the Stars, she has show staffers contact her through her bodyguard, reports the new issue of Us Weekly, on stands today.
"When the show needs to contact Kate, they go through Steve," a production source tells Us, adding that having personal security is not the norm for any of the other star competitors. "She acts like a major celebrity. It's a joke with the cast, like, 'Oh, look out -- the bodyguard is watching!'"

And it's not just any bodyguard.
Gosselin, 35, travels between her $1.1 million home in Pennsylvania and DWTS' Los Angeles set with Steve Neild -- with whom she's been accused of having an affair by her estranged husband Jon. (Both Kate and the married Neild have denied infidelity.)
In fact, an insider tells Us that Gosselin and Neild even stay in adjoining hotel rooms in L.A.

Gosselin -- who was criticized as looking like a "super bitch from hell" during last Monday's dance -- hasn't bothered getting to know any of the other contestants either.

"When she is getting her hair done, she is on her BlackBerry the whole time... [she] is not making herself likable," another insider says, adding that the type-A mom of twins Mady and Cara, 9, and sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah, has not been invited out to any of the cast's Monday postshow afterparties.

"If she tagged along, they wouldn't ask her to leave, but they wouldn't be overjoyed either. She's not much fun," a production source says.
Still, pro dancer Derek Hough defends Gosselin.
"If anyone is allowed to be stressed, it's Kate," he tells Us. "She is so out of her element. She can act any way she wants, in my book."

Kate looks sooo tired in many photos. I've been a single parent for 13 years and completely understand what she's going through, her emotions, actions, etc., however, she needs to take time off. Not only days off but also vacations in which she's able to completely relax (not Disney, etc. where you need a vacation after the vacation). If Kate keeps up her pace without enough R&R, she'll be on the list of young women who have had strokes from pushing themselves too far. I finally learned to slow down somewhat (as much as you can as a single parent who wants a future for yourself and children) after numerous female friends had strokes in their 40's. Kate's impressive but clearly overworking herself. I know the emotional break downs too well and what causes them.
This chick is still trying to make money off her kids and gain so much sympathy from everyone.. "I do this to provide for my kids", blah blah blah...yet she is never there for her kids.. she is all for any sympathy she can get.. she is pathetic... Regardless of Jons flaws, he is far better the parent and the kids adore him,let her run around making the money she loves and pay child support to raise the kids.. win win win for everyone..

I think it is a little suspect that Jons custody suit and Kate's new show were both announced at the same time. What better to focus more attention on them and icnrease potential earnings. I think is a ploy between the two of them. Bad press is better then none at all. Add to that the 'oh poor Kate" bonus votes on DWTS. These two both know how to play the game.

Tony's twitter tweets USMag and said that he did not say the things that Us mag is ragging on about. Also others are reporting that these anonymous sources, are some of the rabid haters sending in an anonymous tip, just to hate on Kate. They are sick minded individuals. Anyone interviewed on DWTS is supportive and saying nice things about Kate (except flaming gay Bruno of course, but he is always melodramatic on DWTS, even Lenn lays into him when he gets over the top and embarrassing.) USMag prints this crap because they know anything with Kate makes them money and sells more magazines. Just like Kate is the reason DWTS and ABC are in record gold ratings the last couple of weeks.
