Kate Gosselin Confirms Talk Show Plans

Something to talk about: Kate Gosselin could land her own talk show.
At Thursday's Southern Women's Show in Charlotte, N.C., the mother of eight 34, confirmed online reports that she wants her own show.
"I've been given the gift of gab, so why not use it?" she said, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Usmagazine.com has confirmed that Gosselin joined Paula Deen at a pilot taping in NYC over the weekend. Comedian Julie Gold, former CBS talent Rene Syler and Lee Woodruff, wife of former ABC World News anchor Bob Woodruff, are among the other women being considered for the show.
Gosselin guest hosted three episodes of ABC's The View last week and said that it was "sort of like a career move, so I had to do it."

She also opened up to the crowd of 700 about her failed marriage.
She revealed that the last year before the breakup, she and estranged husband Jon had considered moving from Wernersville, Pa. — where they own a $1.1 million home — and building a new pad in North Carolina. But the timing was bad.
"Our kids' school and our church kept us there," she said. "It was scary to move so far away."

When a woman told Gosselin she identifies with her because she recently split with her boyfriend, Gosselin told her, "I don't think you want to talk to me about boyfriends or breaking up."
Asked what she misses about her estranged husband, she replied, "I miss Jon. The Jon that I used to know."

Kate got TWO Shows now. I think this is FANTASTIC. Kate is such a wonderful Mother. She deserves everything coming her way. CONGRATS KATE.
It's not only single mom's that are offended in my opinion but I'm a stay at home dad. I'm offended by either one of these morons pretending to be anything but what they are which is, one that is a money hungry sorry excuse for a person and the other is a sometimes stay at home dad that is focused on everything but his kids right now. It's just funny how both of these people say that they are doing everything for the kids and but nothing they seem to do is for the kids unless it is the theme of the show for that week. It's all about the show Kate, so stop saying it's about anything besides that. Wake up Kate lovers, the reason we don't like her is that she's fake. Why would anyone be jealous of someone that is going through a divorce, has very few if any friends and has to take care of 8 kids even if most of the work involved is taken care of by hired help.
I don't think it's jealousy. I think you people that love Kate to death just don't get it and won't be able to comprehend it because you're blinded by your love for Kate and/or the kids. I won't speak for anyone else but main thing that bugs me about poor little Kate is that she makes it sounds like she is just really being attacked right now and she acts as if she has done nothing to bring this on. Nothing could be further from the truth. She invited TLC into the home, she has a nasty, nasty personality and that is what brings on this scrutiny. When they first started this whole having kids thing, based on what is a known fact according to people close to her, she was obsessed with having kids and really having multiples. She was very obsessive about the fact that some other couple with multiples were getting free things, she wanted to have kids almost immediately after getting married which is strange in and of itself, wanting to have kids as soon as you get married I mean. Before the reality show, she felt entitled to care paid for by the state again, bringing on this scrutiny herself. Then she the reality show thing starts. She starts to show her bad side in the first few episodes. It's also been said by people close to the center of it all that she rejected charitable donations from her dad's church paritioners because they didn't match. Evidently that was a big problem for that relationship because as far as we viewers know, there was no relationship there and there really never has been with either of their families and now Jon says, that at least from his side of the family, that was her fault. So she rips on him constantly throughout the taping of the show. She is mean with everyone involved with the production. She supposedly didn't want the neighbors watching and asking for autographs. She hired and fired many, many nannies. Her brother and sisternlaw don't get along with her anymore. She charges her fans for autographs which is something that just doesn't hardly ever happen with real celebrities. If it were just one or two of these things, it would be one thing but there are so many strange things about this woman, I just can't help but just not to like her. And if you're wondering, no, I don't watch the show anymore. I did at first. I was just getting tired of reading some of the crap and the things about jealousy. It has nothing to do with jealousy why I'm writing. I just can't stand the woman and her desire to make everybody feel sorry for poor little Kate. She takes no ownership or responsibility of any of this stuff that is going on or has happened. She's acting like, "oh my goodness, what are people saying about me? I just don't know where this hostilitiy is coming from" When in fact, a lot of these things could've been avoided had she just been nicer. Just please, if you support her great but don't make it out to be a Jon versus Kate thing because it's more Kate versus everybody else because she's hateful towards everyone, not just Jon.
Nobody is jeoulous or hateful of Kate. People are purely stating their concern for the kids and that she shouldn't be lying or fooling the public for her need for monetary gain. People are just tired of all the Kate drama and stating it. What a miserable life she has created for her children. She only sees money$$$$$$ in her eyes instead of love when she looks at her kids. This is showing through her blatant disregard for doing what's right for her children. Nobody will watch the show since the new episodes is more like the Kate all Me Show. It shows because the ratings are dropping fast from week to week. Nobody wants to watch or give another dime to Kate pretending to be a mom and claiming to be a single parent when she has hired help and Jon still helping out. It's insulting for all the real single moms out there that really do it all on their own without any help and millions at their disposal. The show should be called Nannies Plus Eight Minus Kate. This would be more truthful. Sorry, but Kate has no charisma or talent. All she has is the gift to manipulate, lie, and be destructive to others. When the eight kids turn of legal age that will be one happy day for them. Then they can be free from their claw clutching, money hungry mom.

now that kate is doing well Jon is back peddling. he now wants to hold off on the divorce and try to be kind to Kate. To little to late. he now knows kate will do well with out him and how about that divorce Judge won't he just love all of these women telling the world how he has sex in the childrens home while they are suppposed to be asleep. He is not going to be able to use all of the kids money and he doesn''t have a job and who would want to hire some one like him.He would be a terrible representative for any company.Hopefully TLC will take him off of the show completely. Kate has very poor people skills, was not able to engage in a conversation outside her experience on The View and would be a liability to a talk show. Kate is not a conversationalist. Kate should go back to nursing and Jon should get a job. Both could be in well paying positions, if they put a little effort in it. I wouldn't watch any show she is on, she is a condenscending witch. All she wants to do is look pretty, be famous, and act like she is better than anyone else. Well excuse me with this economy a lot of us are learning to cope without pimping our kids 24/7. I know families with as many kids as they have that are getting by without the aid of anyone else. They don't live in mansions, have $3,000 play houses, bodyguards, nannies, drivers, big fancy cars, etc. They work together, they play together, and they take care of each other. Since neither Jon or Kate has worked outside the home for some time they probably won't be able to survive after being pampered for several years. Paul Dean's pimping her boys was different, she was trying to run a family owned business (note family business) and making a go of supporting her family, her boys had lives and helped her out instead of working for someone else. She wasn't selling her boys to entertain all the people in the country so she could make a buck. Even child actors have it better than Kate and Jons kids. Actors still have a home life as well as work and school which are seperate. The 8 kids don't have a home life because the cameras are on them all the time. They are trapped in their mommy's self centered wish to be famous and look at me attitude. This is what I did today Golly Jeez, aren't I wonderful, aren't I perfect.............. They can't get this family out of the news and off tv soon enough.

10:46PM. Jolie and the others have talent. Kate does not and the woman could not hold a conversation on The View. Just so you have a reality check the median income in this country is about $50,030. Gee everyone else seems to be doing okay on this level of income why should an RN with an IT husband complain particularly when they've been able sock away money after four years at $75K an episode? Just go home Kate & Jon then remove the camera from the kids lives.
The reason Jon has gained so much weight is that Jon and the shanky gf couldn't get pregant so they went for help. Bam! it back-fired and Jon got pregant. He is now expecting 12 and he is due next season. He will deliver on "Baby Story" on TLC. He will be making $5 Million. He had to top Kate because he is such a Fame W--e. He also had to make the most money. This time the gutter trash gf runs off and leaves him to raise the kiddies...
