Kelly Bensimon to Departing Housewife Bethenny Frankel: Good Luck!

On Tuesday afternoon, UsMagazine.com broke the news that Bethenny Frankel is leaving Real Housewives of New York after three seasons. ("Last season was scary and painful," Frankel told Us exclusively.)
Hours later, the big announcement still hadn't reached her onscreen foe Kelly Bensimon.

"I didn't know she was staying or leaving," Bensimon told Us at Tuesday night's "Remixology" Bartender's Challenge Finals hosted by Appleton Estate Reserve at NYC's Macao Trading Co.
Bensimon -- who constantly traded insults with Frankel on the show -- then offered her thoughts on the departure. "Congratulations? I wish you well?"

The single mother of two daughters also addressed rumors about her own status with Bravo's hit; one report claims that Bensimon, 42, would appear "part-time" on the show's fourth season.
"I was just asked to come back and we haven't negotiated everything yet," she clarified. "But I can answer honestly I would either come back or I wouldn't come back -- we don't do part-time."

Of her decision to leave, Frankel, 39, told Us that the nonstop sparring with both Bensimon and former best friend Jill Zarin "took all the joy" out of filming the show. A new mom to daughter Bryn, 3 months, with hubby Jason Hoppy, she said she doesn't "see any reason to go back."

12THANK GOD Bethenny is leaving! I'm ecstatic to hear that. She's a wise-ass, rude, mean, insensitive, creepy , and deluded woman.
Bethenny was the only real person on the real housewives. All the others are so shallow and fake, there is no reason to watch and Kelly should seek professional help. She is a real nutcase and shouldn't even be allowed to have children
I am really disappointed that Bethenny is leaving! I absolutely love her witty sarcasm and humor. I probably won't watch this particular housewives anymore. Bethenny made that show. I wish it was that psycho freak bensimon leaving instead of Bethenny! I hate kelly and I used to like Jill but she turned into a real idiot almost as bad as kelly, bad company corrupts good character. so bye bye real housewives of NYC!
Bethenny is a true comic, I just love her wit and sarcasm! I hope they do a follow up to "Bethenny's getting married?" Even if she's just talking about Jason and the baby, she is still way more interesting than all the others put together! I will miss her!
I will not be watching, I wish Bethany all the best, But the rest of the Housewives is not worth watching. Bethany was the most real person on the show.

Bethenny was the only person on the show that didn't piss me off! Everyone else was fake and pretentious including Jill. Won't be watching.
i agree with a lot of people... with bethanny gone i am also not watching.... lets get another season of bethanny gettting...??? whatever they name it!!
It will not be the same without her. Hope we see a season 2 of Bethanny getting married. That show is so much better than the houswives,,
I loved the NY Housewives. With Bethenny gone and Kelly staying I won't be tuning in next season. I really cannot stomach Kelly. The jealousy over Bethenny just magnified Kellys craziness. Bethenny has a new baby and a wonderful man. I will be tuning in to her show if it runs another season. I'd say Kelly and Jill will become besties now. Sickening really...lol
And she is one of the reasons why I will NOT be watching.
