Kristen Wiig has a big decision to make.
In the current issue of Us Weekly (out now), two sources say that Wiig is planning to leave Saturday Night Live at season's end. "It will be a huge blow to the show," says one insider, who adds that Jason Sudeikis, 36, and Andy Samberg, 33, are also contemplating their exits.
Though Wiig's rep refutes the story ("No decisions are made until the season is over"), an insider says the timing is right for the Bridesmaids actress and co-writer. "Kristen was talking about leaving a while ago," a Wiig pal tells Us. "With her movie success, it's no surprise."
On Here's The Thing With Alec Baldwin Monday, Wiig did little to deny that she's ready to move on. "When I do leave, it's not because I'm sick of it and not because I see something better or anything like that," she explained. "It's just that it's time. When I do leave, it will be the hardest thing. I mean, you know. You're there for a week and on Saturday night you're sad because you leave these people."
Wiig added: "This is my seventh year and that's my family. It's my heart. It's New York to me."
When she finally does leave the NBC sketch comedy series behind, Wiig plans to direct and "live in Paris and paint. I want to do a lot of different things."
